This Longhorn does not practice sanitary protocols. Eat at your own risk! I found a bug in my food and got food poisoning from improper food handling within a six months time span. My boyfriend and I ordered a large meal on May 17th for dinner. We picked up the order and ate it at home. I wasn't too hungry, so I ate my sides (Brussel sprouts) and the bread. This afternoon (the 18th), I started eating my strawberry salad for lunch. Halfway through I find a bug stuck on the lettuce. Clearly, the cooks did not wash the lettuce beforehand. I also read someone else's comment from a few weeks ago. She ordered the same salad like me, and she, too, had a bug on hers. I called and spoke with a manager. He attempted to make excuses for their sanitation protocols stating that "when I'm here, we always wash the lettuce." Well, clearly not if two people in a month's span found a bug in their salads. As I explained to him, bugs on lettuce happen. However, as a restaurant and handler of food, servicing a large number of people daily, it is negligence. You are supposed to wash lettuce to remove bugs and other impurities. It's worth mentioning, also, that I got food poisoning back in January from this location. It was the Cesar salad. As I was eating it, the dressing tasted off (kind of sour). My senses told me to throw it away. A couple of hours later, and into the night, I was extremely sick (stomach pains and vomiting up the salad only) which lasted over 24 hours. I only ate a little bit of the dressing before stopping and still got that violently ill. Had I eaten more of it, I probably would have had to go to the hospital. I also told this to the manager I spoke with, and he did not seem to care at all. Again, making his excuses. Two back-to-back issues make it evident that they are not practicing proper sanitation protocols as a restaurant and they do not care to change their practices.

Second time at this location, same issues within the year. This time we decided to celebrate my aunt's birthday and made reservation for 16-people. The servers were pleasant but disorganized. The location was busy in their defense (Saturday evening). But still expecting the food to be good... Nope. We ordered three of the $30 steaks and they were extremely salty and not cooked to order. At check out further disorder ensued. Cons: - small location (we were seated at the entrance... Again 16 persons) - ordering was much more chaotic than it should be, this is not a mom&pop organization. We expected better. - several small issues and manager was always within arms length but never checked in. (Again not needed but would have helped) - steakhouse should not make bad steaks.. namesake. Again $30 sooo salty steaks each - orders came out with out sides and/or incorrect ones. Wait time was sooo long for one dish to be corrected. - lack of organization (pleasant service but poor job, lack of training maybe?) Idk, several servers were provided but no one knew who ordered what or where the correct food was We were nice, we ate and left large tip. But. In all did we HATE it... No. Would you go out your way to pay over $400 for the experience above.... Nope. Fire the guy in the picture!!

My fiance along with her mother and family visited this location 2/ 27/ 20 for her 40ish Birthday. The greeter was notified they were there to celebrate a birthday. It was her mothers favorite restaurant and drove from Washington D.C. to dine here. No one from the restaurant acknowledged or wished a happy birthday to her mother during the entire visit and their food was not as good as expected. Also two people ordered the same drink at the same table but the drinks didn't look the same. They suspect dilution. I did not attend the party however my fiance was kind enough to bring me home a steak meal. I wish she hadn't. This steak has no char, dry, tuff and flavor less. The broccoli was raw and flavor less. It taste like it was dumped straight from a box onto my plate. My fiance and I cook delicious charred succulent steaks at home often and its one of our favorite meals. Thanks for ruining steak night and ignoring my fiance mother on her birthday and then sending them home to me with a dry steak.

I took my daughter out for a celebratory dinner last night (2/23/2024) for an accomplishment at school - she selected this place! We normally enjoy dining here, but I had such a bad experience until this one time may have ended me ever coming back! We started by going to wash our hands AND the women’s bathroom was an absolute atrocity! There was an empty paper towel holder getting soggy on top of the trash topped counter - the slot for the trash to be placed in had overflowed onto the counter and clearly hadn’t been cleaned or dumped before the dinner rush! There was soap residue and water on the counter as well and two empty paper towel holders. So, I went to the stall to attempt to get toilet paper and there was a trail of paper all over the floor with piles of it stacked inside the stalls and strewn across the toilets!?! Further EVERY spot on the floor was disgustingly sticky under my feet! My mother had to use the bathroom so she went in and kept rubbing her feet on the ground, including the grass outside to attempt to get the gross off of her shoes! This was such a gross start! Then to attempt to keep my children satisfied, I stayed and they seated a large party right beside our booth the moment I returned from the bathroom! It was a table of male athletes and the server basically just devoted her time to them for the rest of our visit! Luckily we’d already ordered and someone else brought our food out! I watched and counted the number of times that she came to them and walked on the other side to not have to check on us! They came after us, were served, ate and left BEFORE us!?! Further, my daughter ordered dessert - we had to wait until the ice cream practically melted before she brought the extra spoons (which were too dirty to use)! Prior to eating, I had to request replacement silverware because it wasn’t clean and had hair on the cloth napkin (I asked for paper napkins too that took forever to be brought out)! Overall worst experience I’ve ever had at Longhorn and I’ve been a longtime loyal customer…. I literally sat there only because I didn’t want to ruin my daughter’s celebration but I thought how this one time has forever changed my perspective and doubt I’ll dine in again…. I gave it another chance after the last time her dad brought me there for lunch and some bug kept flying around our food, so I don’t think we’ll make it to the three strikes you’re out rule, two is enough for me…. LAST THING - my overall TWO stars is how I truly feel, but I was being generous about the individual category stars! And, I feel a thorough cleaning is required and maybe fix the dishwasher because my plate didn’t appear to be clean along with the silverware and glass! I didn’t bother to approach anyone because I did tell the server I wasn’t happy but didn’t want to embarrass my children who asked me not to say anything even though it was very clear that I was a very unsatisfied customer! The “manager” saw it on my face as I left and instead of saying anything as I passed her to leave just looked and turned away! It will take a lot for me to return but I hope the place gets cleaned up - I’d hate to have one horrible time knock out all the good ones…. It’s said to always check the bathroom, and if I based my review on that - it would have been a negative star review!!! And, a picture would disgust anyone from ever returning, so I didn’t post any…. Please take the advice to clean up...

I had a very disheartening experience. It actually made me sad. Sunday night I was off work for the first time in forever. I placed an order here and once I received a confirmation that it was ready I headed there. I am new to the area but I only live about 6 minutes away. As I drove here it started pouring rain. I got in and out as quickly as possible (my food was ready and by the door which I appreciated). I got in the car and the rain quickly subsided so I drove home before it picked up again. I got home and began to take the contents out of my bag. I noticed that a side (which I paid extra for) was not in the bag. I thought it was no big deal. I'll let them know, grab it and eat. When I called Chris Boyd answered the phone. I explained that an item was missing and that if it hadn't been made I could be there by the time it's done being boxed. He told me No. He stated that the doors will be locked in 29 seconds and would not be opened again. A little taken aback I responded saying well I could meet someone at the door at this point im less than 2 minutes away. Chris assured me that he in fact will not open the door. I told him I just want to eat (because of a disorder, me not having the entire meal I ordered and paid for I would not be able to eat). He simply stated "well ill get you a gift card" and put me on hold. After about 3 minutes I'm now agitated at the lack of care, lack of customer service and lack of compassion. He comes back to the phone asking for my email. I stop him and ask what he's sending me because he hasnt even discussed a gift card for what exactly. He says $15 and I chuckle and explain to him I simply want my food. I could have been on my way back home with the amount of time we've been on the phone. He gets quiet then says "so what are we doing, do you want the gift card or not". At this point I ask him his name and position. He says "Chris Boyd , manager" So I ask what position manager , FOH, General what. He says I'm the manager of the restaurant. I I say okay so I'm guessing not GM. So I ask for her information and he gives it to me and says "Okay I'm hanging up now". I call the next day to speak with Mary, but he says "its me again". He says she isn't there and again hung up on me. This experience not only ruined my night off and my dinner, but has given me so much anxiety surrounding ordering in again. This was a horrible experience and I should not have been treated this way. I would definitely like someone that is not him to...

I came here on 03/16 with my family for my moms birthday. Harmony was our server and I truly believe she did her best. I was in the service industry a very long time and managed several restaurants, I can truly say taking on a large party isn't always the easiest but she did do her best. That being said. My family arrived between 1-1:45 and the staff were kind enough to seat us even though the full party wasn't present. We order our food entrees around 2:20 and the food did take a while to come out, with a party of 17 that's to be expected, but 35-40 minutes seems excessive. My steak came out, improperly cooked, medium-well. I ordered it medium rare and my assumption was that while the rest of the food was being prepared my steak was sitting there. I let the server know that I would like it remade due to my temperature preference not being met and she understood completely and said I will put that in right away. My plate with the overcooked steak sat in front of me for the next hour and while she came back to the table several times to refill drinks she assured me my new one would be out in a minute. around 4:15 she asked how the checks would be split, split the checks and dropped them off. I let her know at that point that I still had not received my steak (an hour and 15 minutes after reordering it) and that at that point I would just like to cancel it and remove it from the check. Mind you, the overcooked steak was still sitting in front of me. The manager comes to the table with a look of confusion and asks "someone said something about their steak" when you clearly see I was unhappy to have to sit there at a celebration and be the only one unable to eat maybe that wasn't the best way to approach the table? The manager comes over to me, finally grabs the overcooked steak and says "there's been a steak sitting back there for a while and we just didn't know who's it was" there was no apology for their blatant disregard of the guests in their restaurant. Just a chuckle and he walked back into the kitchen with the overcooked steak. All in all, my experience was awful from the point we ordered food, to when the server dropped of a check with a steak I had yet to receive, to when the manager was unprofessional and decided not to apologize for a mistake made under his watch. Disappointed is an...
