This restaurant looks great and it was pleasant to be there. Margaritas were spot on although we found that $12 for one was a bit steep considering the area and the average price elsewhere, but we still ended up having a few each. Food looked great but could’ve been so much better; I had the sirloin steak which came with a side of loaded mash and grilled vegetables, which were both absolutely brilliant. However, despite having ordered my steak medium rare, it arrived medium at best, well done for the most part, and it was very very salty. I chose not to complain because I was starving and couldn’t have waited another 30 minutes for the next one. But the real problem I had tonight was with the waiter. Literally all our bills except for one were wrong and most of my colleagues were overcharged, which we wouldn’t necessarily have figured out had we not asked for separate bills. At this point instead of scrapping the wrong bills and printing out the correct ones, the waiter tried to have us work out the math and settle payment anyway and he struggled so much to make it right that it took us over 20 minutes only to be able to pay. On top of this, even though before the meal we were told that we were gonna get a discount for staying at a partner hotel down the road, there was actually no discount on the bill. When confronted about this the waiter apologised and said that he forgot about it. Errare humanum est, no big deal. If it wasn’t that his apology is all we got! In fact, I was the only person to actually get a 10% discount on my food and that’s only because everybody else had already paid. The absurd part is that in all this, the waiter still had all the cash my mates had given him in his hands, yet the thought of handing some of it back to them in order to reflect the discount never even crossed his mind! Overall the waiter seemed to have no idea of how to deal with customers, even made an unfortunate joke about the age of one of our friends who turned 70 today, saying that he looked older than he his….

Further update: In response to the owners comment- “I just want to say” that my professionalism isn’t in question here. I attended this establishment as a customer because it did have great reviews and to get some edible food, after a long day of traveling. This is a pretty low bar. But the fact that the owner just disclosed his employees medical condition on a public forum, seems to be something that others have the right to be made aware of. Considering they are serving food, and this is a massive health code violation. Hence why I posted the picture, so others were made aware. I do not believe others should have to suffer the side effects of eating here as we did. Maybe if someone is not able to cover their feet, they should not go to work in a kitchen. Hopefully this place does better so no one else gets food poisoning as we did. Update: we got food poisoning… Would give zero stars if I could.. I legitimately don’t understand the positive reviews for this place. The atmosphere was weird.. it was absolutely silent when we walked in and sat down. The server had flip flops on. The waiter ignored us and when he did finally “help” us he was super rude. The food was absolutely inedible. The veggie burger was raw, the shrimp tasted like soap, the mussels were soaked in wine and the steak was very low quality for $60. When we let them know and asked for a discount because we could not finish our meals and started to feel sick, the waiter got an attitude with us and wouldn’t take the food off the bill. Would absolutely not recommend this place to anyone at all ever. McDonald’s is a better option.

Let me just start off by saying my Father has cooked the best food I have ever tasted. However, I would recommend Chef Manni’s cooking to my father. I had the prime rib which came with the loaded mashed potatoes and veggies (substituted for fries) and it is the best food I have eaten at a restaurant. The fries are fresh, salted to perfection, and have a hint of seasoning to them that put these fries at #1 best fries I have ever had. The loaded mashed potatoes are to die for as well. My favorite food group is carbs and potato so saying these are the best fries and mashed potatoes is saying something. I asked Chef Manni about the prime rib rub and he said he took the standard seasoning given to him by the restaurant and has customized it to being the best prime rib rub I have ever tasted. I got it medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. If I was to have a last meal in prison or I was only allowed to eat at one restaurant for the rest of my life, it would be at this place. Thank you for the wonderful servers and the amazing chef at this hotel bar and grill. You will not be disappointed. On a previous visit I ordered the smoked pork chop and it was the best pork chop I have ever had. 15 out of 10 I would recommend!

Many things missed the mark here. First I'd like to say the inside is pleasant but the vibes were off. Is this supposed to be a classy place or a trucker bar? Marble bar, nice accent lights, a tiered island of liqours - looks upscale. Behind is a giant tv screen playing WWE that kept freezing and there was no sound. Music was coming from the far back area of the dining room and was a mix of country, and classic pop rock. It was 90 degrees outside and there was no ac. Felt stuffy and uncomfortable. I was really confused.

Food - prices are insane, and theres no justification. $41 for a steak?! There's places in town that sell the same quality (if not better) for HALF the price. $20 for a salad? I know whole sale prices and thats an insane markup. I opted for the $15 wings. The wings themself - meh? I ordered mango habanero and it was clearly mae ploy sauce with cayenne. Came with 5 baby carrots and 3 pieces of celery that were the size of a tooth pick. Also asked for blue cheese and received ranch. The chicken pieces were plump but very fatty.

Service - I wont neg on the waitress. With prices this absurd, ambience that doesn't know what it is or who to attract, I'm sure they are making next to nothing. Why put forth any effort more than the bare minimum?

Its a small town, right off the interstate. I can see you're trying to get a little bit for everyone but pick a lane. I wouldn't recommend anyone dine here unless its your only option...
