I Don’t Know Who’s in That Kitchen… But I Hope They Know They’re My Hero
Taco Time? More like Taco Divine.
Let me just say this: if fast food chains were friends, Taco Time would be the one that never forgets your birthday, shows up with snacks when you're crying, and reminds you you’re still hot even in sweatpants.
The food? STUNNING. I don’t know what sort of witchcraft they use on their crispy burritos, but I would walk barefoot across a LEGO-strewn floor to get to one. And the Mexi-Fries? Let’s just say if those were the last thing I ate before I died, I’d haunt the kitchen with a smile.
And the service? These people don’t just hand you a taco and call it a day. No, no. They hand you hope. They greet you like you’re not just a customer - you’re part of the family. Like a cousin they actually like.
I walk in and they already know: no tomatoes, add extra joy, and throw in a side of “You look good today.” They don’t say that out loud.... but the vibe? The vibe says it.
Honestly, Taco Time is the reason I haven’t completely given up on the world. Other places might give you a mystery taco wrapped in sadness and grease. But Taco Time? Taco Time hands you a pouch of edible happiness wrapped in paper and seasoned with purpose.
This place doesn’t just feed me. It nourishes my soul. If I ever get married, I want them to cater. If I ever go missing, start at Coffee Coral, but then check Taco Time and bring napkins.
Five glorious, salsa-soaked stars. Forever...
Read moreBaker City needs to learn a little bit about how to treat travelers. At 8pm on February 1st I was forced to stop for the night due to a snow storm and the freeway being closed. I got a room at the Quality Inn. The Sunridge bar and Grill which is part if the Inn had decided to close an hour early so no food there. Next several drivers and I went to the Baker Truck Corral. They also decided to close early. There was at least 15 drivers wondering around their travel store looking for food. McDonalds would not let us inside to order food and they would not let us stand in the drive thru. Pizza Hut would let us order but would not let us eat there. Finally, Taco Time let us order and eat inside their establishment. It was snowing extremely hard. I wish to thank Taco Time for having compassion on us...
Read moreThis was the worst customer service I have seen. We asked for crisp bean burritos, 4 meat tacos and a crisp chicken burrito. They told us they were out of crisp bean burritos so I changed to a chicken. I even said are you sure you’re out of them? We paid and then I saw a sign for 4 tacos for $8 I went up and asked about since we paid more and they told me we had to ask for the deal before we paid. Then my brother went through the drive through and ordered 8 bean burritos after they told me there were out. I went to tell them and he acted like I was crazy and never ordered that. Then we got our food and he gave us the wrong order!!! Don’t go here they are idiots and super rude. What happened to good...
