Angel Food Donuts — Restaurant in Bakersfield

I have never had any issue coming here until today. We live in the area and come here weekly. We have three young children and love their breakfast sandwiches and donuts. We mostly get a dozen donuts. We have never ever had a drink made for us here once. So today after have multiple punch cards in hand we had 10 punches and it is 9 to get one free dozen. Someone, I’m not sure if she’s the manager or not, told my husband two of our punches did not count and that they were drink punches. We have never, not once gotten any type of drink there. I tried to call and explain that this was not OUR fault it was their employees fault for punching it incorrectly. We had no idea the difference since we ONLY get donuts. She kept arguing with me and told me that this was not their mistake but ours and refused to honor our free dozen. That was so humiliating and embarrassing for my husband and that is POOR customer service. This CHEAP and DISHONEST business will never receive another penny from me. Came in to buy a donut on 7/7 at 12:35 pm, as I entered I saw the employee was sweeping with a broom behind the counter, after seeing me she proceeds to help me but doesn’t even wash her hands. The same dirty hands she was cleaning with, she picked up the used gloves that were already there and put them on 1 hand with the other dirty hand with no glove she picks up the bag to put the donut inside. The donuts taste like some plasticy chemical. I was heading to work early and wanted a quick breakfast and some coffee. This place was supposed to open at 4am, early enough that I could be on time. The owner didn't arrive until almost 4:15 though and so I was late. I assume there isn't a lot of business at 4 in the morning, but there were 2 others waiting while I was there. If you don't plan on opening up early just set your hours later. I would have gone somewhere...
