Toastique — Restaurant in Bakersfield

I finally tried this place out a few times. 2 of the 3 times I went , the person had took my order and than after I had paid and sat down , he came to me and said they actually ran out of salmon. So I had already paid for something they didn't have and had to get something else. The time I did get the salmon toast and even the 2 times I had to substitute for something else it was VERY good. My only problems I have are the price and also taking my order and charging me without knowing wether or not you are out of certain items. The price for the food I just can't justify it and I do not think it is worth it. I think for 1 drink and I piece of toast , I had spent 36-40 dollars which is absolutely insane when you think about it. I know alot of people like this place but it is not for me. I will not be going again , but hey if you are rich and can afford it than give it a shot. I just think you can get more food and better food for that price at other places. Hard...

Cortados and gourmet toast!! This could possibly be a better combination than peanut butter and coffee.

Toastique is on the corner of a strip mall and an abundance of light streams through the cafe. It’s decorated with natural soothing colors, plenty of seating and plants (another one of my favorites). I couldn’t decide on a gourmet toast, because they all looked and sounded fabulous. I ended up ordering an Avocado Smash. It was delicious. After the last bite I realized I got overexcited and forgot a picture.

My cortado was made by the owner who was very approachable and friendly. It seemed like he takes his crafting of espresso drinks very seriously. The cortado definitely met and superseded my expectations. I don’t visit Bakersfield often, but I will definitely make it back to Toastique and recommend it to my family and friends in the area.

Toastique Bakersfield is an absolute gem for anyone seeking a fresh, delicious, and productive dining experience. During my visit, I ordered the Tuscan Tuna Gourmet Toast and a Matcha Latte with honey, and both exceeded my expectations.

The atmosphere at Toastique is warm and modern. It’s clear they put thought into making this a space where customers can relax, connect, or even work. I brought my laptop and found it an ideal spot to focus, thanks to the comfortable seating, plenty of natural light, and a calm ambiance that wasn’t overly noisy or distracting.

I’ll definitely be back soon—this place has something for everyone! Highly recommend it for locals and visitors...
