It is worth the 20 minute drive across town, past numerous bakeries to pick up snacks here. We've gone twice this month! The fudge brownies are the best I've had in years. Rich chocolate flavour, dense & chewy centre, and that nice crisp brownie top. Your choice with or without walnuts. Highly recommended. Grab a milk while you're at it! The cupcakes are delicious. The vanilla is perfect, great crumb, the buttercream frosting is flavorful and rich without being cloyingly sweet. Same to be said for the Oreo-funfetti cupcakes. The batter is funfetti and Oreo, with Oreo buttercream dipped in sprinkles. The s'mores cupcake was a hit with a expertly toasted marshmallowy fluff topping. I really enjoyed the brown butter Rice Krispy treat, thick and chewy (my partner said he's "had better" 😏). There is a raspberry almond tart which is sweet, tart, and crumbly, but not dry. The burbon pecan tart is hands down the best pecan dessert next to my aunt's homemade pie. The crust is delicious, delicate, and flavorful without falling apart under the weight of the delicious filling and pecans. Toffee cheesecake was rich and creamy. I didn't taste too much toffee. The crust was crumbly and unique but quite enjoyable.

Friendly staff, clean store. Bright and welcoming. We will continue the commute across town to support this establishment, even if it seems up taking us nearly an hour between the drive there & back, plus picking out our goodies.

Bake Shop came highly recommended by my brother, it took me some time to finally stop by since I live in NE area, glad I was in the area.

Bake Shop has a wonderful selection of pastries: cookies, cupcakes, brownies, cakes and so much more. They all looked so delicious. I purchased a slice of tres leches cake, slice of carrot cake, pumpkin cream cheese truffle and arroz con leche (rice pudding). No, I didn't eat all three.

I had the tres leches cake, it was dreamy. For those of you who have any experience with tres leches, you know it has the potential to be a runny mess as it contains three different milk products. Bake Shop got perfect, it was moist-not runny and very flavorful, the whip cream topping with caramel added even more flavor.

The next day I had the arroz con leche (rice pudding). I usually like my rice pudding warm, since Bake Shop tops their rice pudding with whipped cream I didn't heat it so cold it was. The rice pudding was great cold, almost as good as my mother makes and that is saying a lot.

My husband had the pumpkin cream cheese truffle, he loved it. He shared a spoonful with me, it was rich and flavorful and the cookies were still firm. The following day he ate the carrot cake, it was moist, a bit of spice and very rich, but not overly rich.

Bake Shop reminds me of some of my favorite bakeries in L.A. or Santa Barbara, it looks like a bakery, not a retail shop, they strictly do pastries and they do...

I was looking for a cake for my best friend's first baby's gender reveal. I read lot's of reviews and every single one was raving about how delicious everything was. The owners/bakers were extremely easy to work with, they brought my vision to life- it was even better than the inspo picture I had originally provided. The cake was relatively inexpensive considering I had looked around and other places wanted double. I opted for a funfetti or confetti cake and it did not disappoint! The cake was ready as promised, boxed beautifully, it was moist and fluffy and just the perfect amount of sweet. Some of the guests even went back for 2nds!
