El Taco Rojo INC. Restaurant — Restaurant in Bakersfield

At first I found it odd that there would be a restaurant in a car dealership. But then it made more sense- you got a bunch of people waiting for their car getting serviced and they can get hungry. From all the 5 star reviews, I'd thought I'd give it a try.

Right away they people made me feel welcomed to the establishment. From the smell alone, you know that the food is going to be good. Each worker was super friendly and shot the breeze with everyone.

I got the loaded burrito🌯. I can say that this burrito is delicious and hits the spot. All the ingredients together makes for one of the most delicious burritos I ever had. The only negative is the size of the burritos are on the smaller side. But maybe that's a good thing? I definitely will be coming back...

Honestly this place has come to my job to cater like 3 different times. 1st time they brought queso birria with rice and beans, 2nd time it was cheese burgers and most recently it was pupusas. Eating their food 3 different times and some of it is not even on the menu like the cheeseburgers and pupusas just lets me know that this business will do anything for a buck cause the food was soooo bad and flavorless. How are you going to be a Mexican cuisine place but not know what seasoning is and they must be cheap because even though the whole warehouse complains about their food they are still brought back. Portions were small too compared to other vendors we’ve had....

First time customer. Met the wife here for lunch. Pricing is pretty reasonable. The ladies at the register had good customer service. I ordered the birria tacos and wife ordered Asada fries. Birria Tacos were too greasy, i went thru a quite few napkins to remove the grease off my hands. Salsas were good but the greasiness of the tacos made it good tacos not enjoyable. Wife ordered the Asada Fries, the fries were not even fried. They were mushy and soft. They are called French fries for a reason. Not very good at all. All things considered they were not that busy so not sure why the food quality was subpar. This will be first and only time I will be...
