Service was great and the vibe was cool. Even though the booth we sat at had a beat up table, I still felt a community comfort. We ordered our food and it looked amazing! My son ordered the prime rib tacos and I ordered the ring leader burger. The food looked absolutely amazing! We both took a bite at the same time and stopped. The amount of salt that was used in our food was obscene. My son ate one taco and stopped and I dissected my burger and ate what I could. After being in food service, I did not blame the server and left him a tip but he realized something was wrong when we refused to go boxes. It's so great to have a neighborhood pub like this in our area. The serving staff is very friendly and attentive. They checked in on us at the right times and didn't hover around. The bar is well stocked with good whiskey. The food was terrific! I had the "Vegetarian... not" burger(pictured below) with extra crispy fries. The atmosphere is really good and the music is great. The one thing that doesn't really add to the atmosphere were the TV's with sports playing on it. The environment didn't need it. The sports just seemed like a distraction. There was a ton of people in there that were laughing, talking and having a great time. This pub could be on it's way to becoming the "Cheers" of this neighborhood. Overall, I liked this place. I liked that they didn't skimp on food for the price. I like the unique options. I enjoyed the taste of the food and my kids ate their kids meals, which is a really good sign. The service was done right. A downer was that we felt a bit gross after eating. Maybe we ordered too many fried options with the fried pickles/asparagus, fried fish tacos, french fries, and tater tots, etc. The kids ate sliders and chicken nuggets (the nuggets did seem like the freezer kind which is a bummer). My wife ordered a guacamole burger and it was great, but extremely messy. If you're looking for fried food, messy food, or comfort foods then this might be the place for you.
