Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Bakersfield

I recently visited Carl’s Jr. and purchased three combo meals through the drive-thru. Unfortunately, the experience fell far below expectations. I specifically requested fresh patties, knowing that sometimes food that’s been sitting too long gets served. Despite this, when I got home and opened my order, the patties were clearly not fresh. They were dry and tasted like they’d been sitting for a while.

On top of that, the fries were cold, hard, and the large fry from one of the combos was barely half full. For the price that we pay for a meal, this kind of quality is unacceptable. I called the store and spoke to a manager, who acknowledged the issue and said he would put my name down for a replacement.

A week later, I returned to the same location expecting the meal to be replaced as promised, only to be offered a single large fry. That kind of response felt like a slap in the face and showed a serious lack of accountability and customer care.

Customers deserve better—especially when we’re paying premium prices. Carl’s Jr. needs to do better in quality control and customer service. It’s disappointing to be served subpar food and then be treated dismissively when trying to...

Ok so let's start with the ordering, I had to order for four so every time I was trying to order my next combo they kept trying to give me my total and hurry me up, they had no one waiting yet? So I finally order and when I get my receipt I tell them that they gave me the wrong size so I had to give back a soda that was already in my car which is ok but I guess they got mad and said pull up to the front and we will take you your order. I really don't like doing that cause these fast food places have been doing horrible with orders of 3 or more combos. And of coarse my hunch was right again I get my order and we are missing two items. Come Carl's Jr my kids love your food but please get your ship right, tired of coming home and one of my kids doesn't get thier food! Ok it was mine this time lol. P.s. the jalapeno...

I love Carls Jr. Burgers!!! Recently, my family and I visited this location. We went through the drive through. My husband and I both ordered a #10, which is the lettuce wrapped burger with your choice of a 1/2 or 1/3 lb patty. My daughter wanted the #1 $5 box meal, which came with a hotdog and double cheeseburger. We asked for ketchup and mustard on the dog but were told it would be given on the side. When we got home, we found that there were no condiments in the box or bags, and her burger had no condiments on it either, and to my surprise, my lettuce wrapped burger, had bun!!!! The #10 combo is specifically a lettuce wrapped burger...how do they screw that up??!! Lol!! Needless to say, the food was still good and the staff was very friendly...the kitchen needs to get it...
