Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Bakersfield

The totality of our visit at this Church's Chicken was unbelievably overwhelmingly disappointing from the beginning our order took a price Polly 10 minutes just to order Dan to find out that they claim carrot credit card machine was not working for us only after running it three times which they had a line of customers behind us about four or five cars so we left however about three blocks down the road my wife decided no I am not going to let that go and we turned around and went back in my wife got out of the car and went inside and was able to make our purchases with the card machine still would not work for excuse me however even after that I noticed that it was because of the way that we were dressed and presented ourselves my wife was wearing a dashiki dress myself my black shirt and collar as a United States chaplain so they thought that we were foreigners Africans and we're very rude and disrespectful not knowing that I am very fluent in Spanish very rude disrespectful I have been a patriot of this restaurant since its existence and I will not ever return there again even knowing that they are the only one here in town did I have access to unbelievable and disappointing and truly disrespectful a grade f if I could give zero Stars I...

I haven't been inside yet. However, I don't understand why they haven't told their superiors that the app and website don't report the correct information! 😒 I uninstalled the app because it kept telling me that there wasn't a location near me! I'm a 6-minute drive from here! Also, the website posts meals that this location doesn't have or offer! So, not only can I NOT order what I want, I ALSO can't order at all, unless I order at the drive-thru or inside. This is extremely inconvenient for me. And this is the ONLY Churches in Bakersfield! Just an FYI I was hired at this location it is the worst and most disgusting establishment I have ever seen . The food is prepared in the nastiest containers they are broken and covered in black gunk that looks like it hasn’t been properly cleaned in Over a decade . The pipes are clogged so bad the water comes up and covers the kitchen at night . They have roaches . The tables and counter tops are covered in grease . They save the gravy and Mac n cheese and mashed potatoes that are left from the day before and mix brand new packages with the old. Just think before you eat here .
