Taqueria Los Altos — Restaurant in Bakersfield

I have just experienced to eating approximately 75 % of the worst burrito of my life, it was so sour tasting that I just had to give up eating it about three quarter way. At this place I've ordered a Mojada burrito with extra sour cream so for the $ 9.99 burrito I've paid almost $ 12.50 and as I was eating it I had formulated all kinds of thoughts of anger in my mind for missing the sour cream from it when suddenly it showed up after consuming over fifty percent of it. But over all the burrito tasted so sour that even with my pickles I would have thrown in the trash if that would have happened to me. This Mojada burrito was extremely dry in the inside because of the rice I guess and the El Pastor meat was chopped so small and rarely found in the burrito that it's taste was completely lost. I would never had imagined having a food like this in my life. If you ever wonder around the San Fernando Valley and get hungry I strongly recommend that you visit El Indio fast food by the corner of Roscoe Blvd and Balboa Blvd and give a try of THEIR (!) El Pastor burrito....

My dad was from Los Altos de Jalisco and I'm new to this town, so I haven't been able to find good Mexican food. I thought this place would live up to the name and provide good food, it was FAR from that! I was about to walk out when the first thing I saw was put my plate that I ordered to go shoved in the Microwave, la comida Mexican no se calienta en el microondas! I decided to give then the benefit of the doubt and continue with trying it out,,,, to say the least VERY DISSAPOINTED. I ordered a Sope and the flavor was bland with no flavor. The Enchiladas were awful and you could tell the plate was microwaved! 🤦🏼‍♂️ Quítense ese nombre porque este restaurante no tiene nada que ver con Los Altos, Jalisco ni México! Aside from the bad food was the high prices,,, $18 for a sope and order of Enchiladas,,,, 😒🤦🏼‍♂️,,, I wouldn't have cared if the food was delicious but I wasn't,,, #fail #notgoingback,,, the only great thing was the awesome lady who helped out this morning had a great personality and...

Went in with my sister and kids to eat. I arrived after my sister, as soon as I arrived I sat down with them and the waitress came and with an attitude asked us if we were ready. Chips were stale! And after like 20 minutes she returned and again had a nasty attitude and as we are ordering she was rushing us, when we got the food instead of her helping us by placing it for us on the table since we had kids and we’re trying to move everything she was just hovering over us almost felt rushed, I noticed the ketchup bottle was almost empty and wasn’t giving me any ketchup, then I got us to ask for more and the other lady, gave me anotherr empty bottle the moment we would ask for something they would hand it to us and they would go straight to the back, so I had to yell again for them to give me a new ketchup bottle so the girl just hands me like 5 packets like okay girl we have like three orders of fries. Horrible horrible service!!! Very disappointed of what this place...
