Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Bakersfield

I'm like a food critic without the license, and I came from Alaska, so I came to this place after doing my errands today, lol. I haven't been to this location but lately ive seen a lot of poor reviews and food quality go down or hit or miss overall service that has lost its customers but I've heard a lot about this location and I haven't ate yet today lol. I have massive high-quality taste buds for food and more on the menu to try out soon Lord Willing. I randomly selected the number 4 Large Combo Meal with all spicy thighs and Mac and cheese on the side and rice and beans and amazing gravy by itself because I love to dip it with everything and a side of freah drop fries that take about only 4 minutes and my Large sweet tea that was freshed brewed. Overall wonderful clean place area, and the customer service at the drive through was very well mannered and helpful throughout my time checking everything on the menu and she shown a lot of patience on allowing me to take my time to figure out what I wanted to order on the menu and helped me a lot on my order selections and she repeated the order to make sure everything was correct, so keep up the good work from the time I was there at about 11PM ish and sorry I forgot your name but the cameras show it, everything tasted fresh and nice crunchy texture and was very fulfilling with massive portions of the items I ordered that was nice and Hot and super tasty and flavorful. Great price overall and Thanking the people that helped me with my First Time Experience here. They also have condiments to get or ask for inside but they made sure I got everything in my bag. I even asked the times when the chicken came out because I hate dry chicken as a passion and the sides also and they kinda told me the times it was on the kitchen racks and sides also and that was very helpful, closed mouths don't get fed so feel free to speak up and ask questions to your order and food quality times. I highly recommend them for when you're hungry or if you're in a hurry on your lunch break from work or wanna bring the family. Overall Keep up the good work everyone in the back cooking today, they deserves a raise and a couple of new business shirt uniforms and hats and name tags for all the employees....

I normally enjoy eating Popeyes Chicken. I really enjoy Popeyes delicious full of flavored spices tender chicken.

However this time I was disappointed with my order. I purchased an eight piece Chicken Box which contained; 2 dry chicken breasts, 3 thighs & 3 drumsticks & no chicken wings, which is my favorite part of the chicken to eat.

Well, the chicken breasts were dry so I tried the chicken thigh and surprised it was tender & full of flavor.

I tried contacting the Manager to ask why I wasn't given any chicken wings, however, after several attempts, no one answered the phone.

I'm surprised when I went through the drive-up window and asked was there white meat? She responded yes, but wasn't specific.

I should have asked "specifically" is in the 8 piece box? I won't be driving through again without checking first.

Yes, I've already contacted their Corporate Office Customer Service to share my recent experience.

Take my advice, check your order before you drive off to make sure you have the correct chicken pieces so you won't be disappointed with your family's meal as I was.

I think next time, I'll drive back to my prefer location on...

Went ti Popeyes today and Jose was very rude... I asked id he had the 5 something special, he said no. I had to order it online. I was just here at this location and ordered 2 tenders with 2 sides and a bicuit and paid not even 6 dollars. Was just at the Popeyes on Niles and ordered the same dinners and paid a little over 12 bucks. The price is not what bothers me. It was the customer service I received from Jose which he told me he was the manager. I tried to order a 8 piece nugget combo and told him I wanted mashed potatoes. He repeats my order a he said fries instead of mashes potatoes. I guess he got a attitude when I told him I was just there a few days ago abd I always go there to eat cause I work near by. He got a altitude. Well maybe managing a fast food restaurant is not the job for him. I left...and wint be bwck when he's there. I've NWVER had a problem with Popeyes until now ( him/ manager/ Jose). Bad costoner. Service. My passenger thiught he was on drugs.... Something wrong with him... Having a bad day. Shouldn't came...
