I have to rate this place low as well. A buddy said they had the best burritos he's ever had so I went to hunt down this food truck in the Chevron parking lot. I expressed multiple times I wanted extra sour cream (crema). I asked multiple times to confirm they got the sour cream which they insisted. Even at the pick up window I again asked if it had sour cream. Yes they confirmed again.
I got back to my room to eat this burrito and it was average at best. I would have given them a 1 but thats not completely fair due to my friend's referral. The meat was dried out. They loaded it with rice, I didnt taste the beans and they only gave one small thing of salsa for a flavorless burrito with minimal dried out meat. To top is off the tortilla was stale and crunchy. The edges were like crackerbread. Because they forgot the sour cream after multiple asks, they would get negative stars. They kept confirming they got it. That means they either dont listen or are comfortable lying so I can only imagine what is going on in the kitchen that we can't see.
Nope nope nope. Would not recommend...
Read moreI’m not even kidding this place violates health codes and service horrible! My fiancé and I went to the drive-thru (keep in mind there is nobody inside nor in the drive thru) and they have us waiting for about five minutes. My fiancé then asks ‘hi is anyone there?’ and the woman then tells us to wait. After she comes back we order, and pay and they mess up our order. This is where things get disgusting. Not only do we drive all the back to get the CORRECT order, the lady at the drive-thru says they wouldn’t give us our food until they see proof that our order was made wrong. So we show her the nachos that were messed up and SHE TAKES THE ORDER OVER THE COUNTER AND BACK TO THE KITCHEN. You are nnneeevvveerr to supposed to take food back over the counter it is a major health violation and she could’ve contaminated the kitchen. Not only that she gives us our order and you guessed it.. it’s still wrong! So upset about it. I will never go back...
Read moreI was driving up north and had stop to fuel. was kinda hungry and saw the truck, said to myself I'll get something and go. I ordered and waited. consider it was cold at night and I'm waiting for my order. the "chef" was clearly taking his sweat time. no sense of urgency at all. I had waited what seemed like 15 minutes when I saw he had barely taken my ticket to start making my order which I had 2 people before me still. so I left. I figured I still had to wait another 15 minutes total of 1/2 hour in the cold for a burrito that who knows if it might be good or not...it didn't matter even if I was hungry. it's too much time of waiting for a lunch truck burrito and specially when I am seeing no sense of urgency what so ever from the "chef". didn't waste my time arguing or asking for money back figured a bad review...
