CHINESE RESTAURANT GOLDEN EXPRESS — Restaurant in Balch Springs

I specifically asked the front worker was the sesame chicken and general tso’s chicken one of those breaded dishes where I would have to pull off layers of fried breaded dishes to get to the meat. The guy says “No”.

My food was exactly what I was stated I didn’t want. I showed a photo & all of thick breaded Chinese food from the internet that got soggy when sauced and he referred to the food on the golden yellow menu as what their food looked like. My food looked NOTHING like the food on the golden yellow menu. He also stated it was “cooked to order” and there is no way because my food was ready not even 5 minutes after I swiped my card. Unless you want soggy breaded sesame & general tso’s chicken, stay away from this place. It was a waste of my money & gas to be lied to after inquiring about how it was prepared.

Update: I called to request a refund & the female worker hung up in my face. I called back & she stated they are busy & would call back. The incoming call is her calling back just to tell me it’s nothing they can do about the fact that I was told my food wasn’t breaded. “That’s just how it is” was her words to me…. I stated that this business has a person on the front misspeaking about the quality of the food. She doubled down so I told her I would dispute the charge with my CC then she hung up in my face again.

Si pudiera no le diera ninguna estrella, No es la gran cosa este restaurante, ordené mi comida y el arroz frito ni sabor tiene y el platillo que ordene muy insípido de sabor ni a ajo sabia o salsa de soya, el otro platillo lo ordené con arroz blanco y estaba apelmasado y sin ningún sabor el arroz frito muy grasoso por cierto y un arroz de muy baja calidad se sentia al masticarlo, sin dejar por un lado que es caro y sucio el lugar. Las personas que ahí trabajan ni usan protección en la cara o manos o el cabello, a saber si todos tienen licencia de manipular alimentos, vi algunas moscas donde estaban cortando los vegetales, las porciones son pequeñas por el precio caro que ofrecen sus platillos, Una señora de estatura baja morena Se miraba sucia en su aspecto, su cabello suelto, y tosió algunas veces al estar preparando un platillo sirviendo arroz no protección en su rostro!! El cocinero estaba sudando al cocinar los alimentos y se limpiaba el sudor con sus manos, que insalubre!! Quise cancelar mi orden pero al mismo tiempo quise dar una oportunidad por ser un negocio recientemente instalado en esta gasolinera, Pero decepción!! Desperdicio total de mi dinero comida insípida, grasosa y preparada sin higiene, Es mejor ir hasta Mesquite y seguir disfrutando de Chan's, y algunos otros restaurantes de mejor calidad, y limpieza y por supuesto mejor calidad de ingredientes para...

I recently moved to the area and have been looking for a good takeout spot, this place did not disappoint! The food was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious.
