I have eaten at the restaurant many times. But the last few meals were not good. I don't know if there's someone new at the helm, but the quality of the food has plummeted. Last night, my wife and I ordered fried calamari, tomato & mozzarella appetizer, and seafood in marinara with linguine.
The calamari had no taste. The breading was bland. The provided marinara was pizza sauce. It's a very forgettable appetizer.
Same with the tomato, mozzarella, and prosciutto. I've never had tasteless prosciutto, but I did last night. The tomatoes weren't ripe yet and had no flavor. They skimped on the pesto & balsamic dressing. So again, I'd skip this on the menu too.
As for the entre, the shell fish was excellent. Large shrimps were served atop store-bought linguine. The mussels & clams were fresh, and the scallops were good.
Other comments, we needed clean utensils for both my wife and me; the table was sticky and greasy; I asked for crushed pepper for my salad and received a pepper shaker; no fresh bread; waitress spent most of her time socializing behind the bar. One more thing, I think it's OK to replace the lemon and ice in the customer's glass when he asks for a refill of his water.
My wife and I used to eat here on a regular basis. We won't be...

The photo they have up for their sausage pasta is 100% inaccurate. What I received was nothing like the obit they have and the description is so limited you would think that the photo is accurate. The sauce was literally a can of tomato sauce basically uncooked and it came with large whole sausages unlike the photos which seemed to show ground sausage âon topâ.
They also didnât give us the penne we asked for but instead a much wider pasta with ridges. It wasnât al dente enough and just overall a huge disappointment for both the dish described above as well as the âpenneâ alla vodka.
Itâs also disheartening that you would pay $18-19 for basic pasta and not get a salad included - adding a side salad costs another $3!
On a good note the flavor of the vodka sauce was great and the calzone was amazing.
Iâd never order anything but a pizza, calzone, Stromboli, etc...
