WARNING ⚠️ Not because of the flavor if this food because the flavor was most definitely there. WARNING because this is not the place to order from if you are presently starving. If you have went on a plane but the plane crashed on a random island with no resources and no cell phone service and everybody died but you so now your alone and lonely and you have been starving not even a single ant butt to eat and you have been stranded now both day and night for 3 days so far. You finally get enough strength to just swim and endure the dangerous creatures in the sea but it's ok though because your hunger is giving you the will power to man up and just do it and now you finally arrived to the main land on day 4 after swimming a whole day and the nearest place to eat is gbs. You are tired and can't move no further so you stay the bench on the corner of MLK and green st. Fortunately for you you had a water proof fanny pack on with your credit cards and phone so you have just enough strength to order your food from gbs. Now you slightly relax because you know nourishment is on the way but to your surprise you won't even get to enjoy it to the fullest. Your now on hr 2 of waiting for your food with no strength to to go on because your so starved and then when all hope was lost gbs finally finished your food 2hr later gave to your dasher then your dasher shows up with your food 7mins later and you rip the bag open because your so hungry. You finally put that first spoon full in your mouth and it's bursting with flavor but then you died still anyway because the swallow took too long to hit your stomach. The end. Now while this story was tragic I will say if you are not hungry but just want to order food in advance for dinner for later then that will be the better thing to do. I speak about this restaurant from a delivery driver and customer...
Read moreIf you’re craving bold flavors and authentic island vibes, GB Caribbean Restaurant is the place to be. From the moment I walked in, the aroma of jerk spices, slow-cooked meats, and freshly baked coco bread hit me like a warm Caribbean breeze.
I ordered the jerk chicken with rice and peas, fried plantains, and a side of festival. The chicken was smoky, juicy, and packed with heat — just the way it should be. The rice and peas were perfectly seasoned, with hints of thyme and scallion shining through, and the plantains had that irresistible caramelized sweetness that balanced everything out.
Service was laid-back but friendly, and the reggae playing in the background made the whole vibe feel like a mini vacation. Bonus points for their homemade sorrel and ginger beer — spicy, sweet, and refreshing.
Whether you’re Jamaican or just a fan of the cuisine, GB Caribbean Restaurant feels like a taste of home. Don’t skip the oxtail either — it falls off the bone...
Read moreDo Not- I allow me to Reiterate- Please, Do NOT Order from Uber Eats!!! They charged me $122.22, NEVER DELIVERED MY FOOD. Uber Eats said that I received “A $122.22 credit” That I NEVER received and I didn’t get ANYTHING. No Food. No Money. Uber Eats said that the delivery person “didn’t follow protocol” but when I disputed the charges?! I LOST. I REALLY wanted that food (I STILL DO, For REAL). It’s unfortunate because I was warned by my Lady Friend “DON’T ORDER, for delivery- There gonna scam you, like they do people, sometimes . Man, you better order, for pick up!!!” I didn’t think that I would get beat outta $122.22, much less LOSE the dispute and have The Culprits Get Away, With It. They DID… And Uber Eats, let...
