AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD.

I happened to order from here at the beginning of the quarentine time and did not disappointed.

I have not gone inside, so I don't have a clear feeling of the atmosphere inside. I can tell its an authentic because the past reviews. Some places like this, don't have the luxury to have servers, and is a culture thing (in some places of Mexican city), where you order at the register or front desk, pay, take a sit and then wait for your food.

Every time I have ordered from here, I get a surprise. We tried to order different things to have a good variety and be able to give a fair review.

The portions are big and I will recommend you to try first with one item and then go big (for big good eaters like me, where you can order and then eat leftovers for another days).

The place is not fancy, trendy, or hipster. Please have low expectations with being greet and get the menu. This is a place where you order, without being greeted and may pay upfront, then you pick your table and eat.

Fortunately or unfortunately with this covid you can order and eat in the luxury of your house.

Let’s just say the name does not match the restaurant. Gave me a feel more like Ecuador or somewhere in Central America. Service was poor, I got there and the waitress was flirting with a guy that was waiting supposedly 1 hour for his food. He kept asking for something free. I waited patiently because there is no host or hostess. After all that Harty har, she took my order large orchata (rice water) and a chicken breast dinner plate. It took 30 min. When the plate came out it was warm and ready to be eaten, but wait no silverware or napkins. I’m looking for the waitress and she is nowhere to be found. Meanwhile my food is getting cold. After 5-7 minutes she came by apologizing with some silverware wrapped with some napkins. The napkins were wet and soaked. She was like I just washed my hands and my hands were wet. I didn’t even get my drink till after the food came out. The food was ok to say the least. It has no wow factor. I also asked for the spiciest salsa they had and they brought me some kind of buffalo colored ranch salsa. Not spicy at all. Will I go here again?...

I always come whenever I come to Baltimore since I live in Pennsylvania. It’s my favorite place to go. I even recommended it to my friends! Today, I’m very disappointed because I found a rock in my food like gravel! I didn’t noticed until I bit into my food. When I told my waitress, an older skinny lady, she didn’t apologize! She just said, “I don’t know what to tell you.” I guess she went to tell the cook. Not once asked me if I was okay or apologize. She didn’t retrieved the plate until she noticed I didn’t want to eat it. She also charged me the plate. I wouldn’t mind if I had to pay at least half of the plate.
