Now that ! Was delicious! I ordered the birria , the elote , tres lèche cake and carne asada tacos. Off break the elote was delicious , wish it had a bit more cheese but I was so disappointed I only got one. The carne asada taco was your basic taco ; not unbelievably delicious… just good. But that birria and consommé!! Boy , I have been burned so many times by places claiming to have good birria and each time have been let down by the lack of cheese in the tacos , or the fatty meat in the tacos or the greasy flavorless consommé. But this place did it right , perfect meat and cheese balance in the tacos the consommé had veggies and even rice in it and it was so delicious even after the tacos were gone I was scooping up the remaining consommé to enjoy. Lastly I tried the tres leches and Fresca (strawberry) for the first time. I normally don’t like overly moist cakes (don’t like the texture) but this was very pleasant and not overly sweet to which was nice. The Fresca was very refreshing I just wish I had asked for some ice to make it colder but this seems like the kinda drink to have on a hot day. the campechanos tacos were so greasy and the meat (that was not chicken or steak.....couldnt telll what it was really maybe old beef?) was very overcooked and gritty. The barbacoa was delicious ..0 grease . The first pictures are the barbacoa. Will order again but not the campechanos

Update: Ordered the barbacoa again. they made the tacos smaller. Taste was still great though 4-7-23. Picture with water bottle

Ordered barbacoa again on 9-11-24 and the they were fatty in some of the bites and not enough cilantro. Didn't taste as good as I remember

Update 5-30-25 Ordered the barbacoa and the quality has really gone down hill it's full of fat at the bottom of each taco and one even had a bone in it.... the size of quarter. Shown in latest picture. I couldn't enjoy the taco as much when I was chewing since each bite had squishy fat...

While their food is always excellent and freshly made, my order took a turn last night. Lately I’ve been ordering the quesadilla, which is normally cut into four slices with a spoonful of tomato salad in the corner and a dipping sauce cup…. Last night I ordered a barbacoa quesadilla that only came with THREE slices and a larger portion of salad. I didn’t really notice until two pieces in, then I realized I only ate one end piece; it’s normally cut into 4 with two end pieces and two chunky middle pieces. Whoever prepared my dish last night took out an end piece and tried to replace it with more salad! I am very disappointed with this, as my husband and I order food from her often. The food here is not cheap so just from this incident I will probably no longer...
