Pizza 5 stars, lack of parking, non-English speaking employee who mocks customer, the reason for 3 stars (see below). No longer a dine-in location as under previous owner due to no public bathroom. Have tried to get to this spot since I had seen it was reopening under new owner several months ago but street parking never available or I would pick up here a few times a week. NICE pizza - sweet sauce, thin crust, good cheese on a large slice for $2.95. Tiramisu surprisingly from a pre-made cup; from others raving of the authentic Italian (er, Hispanic) made dishes and the price, $4.95, I just expected homemade Tiramisu. In trying to communicate with an ESL employee regarding how much was the order minimum for a pizza delivery order, he just kept laughing, saying "we don't deliver for just that", clearly not understanding. When I arrived to pick up the order, there were 2 young delivery boys hanging out who I'm sure would've appreciated a $10 tip for delivering 3 streets, 2 blocks down. Maybe Rebaldi's could start a curb service, I sure would like their...
Read moreThis is very good New York pizza. It's not artisinal pizza, but it's not intended to be. It's great, neighborhood pizza at a great price. if you go the traditional route when ordering a pizza (e.g., cheese, pepperoni or meatball, or spinach ricotta), you will not be disappointed. The staff and owner (Roberto) are very friendly, and I've never had them flub a pickup pizza order. (They do get very busy during peak times.) Tell Roberto what you need, and he'll make sure you get it!
Looking at some of the negative reviews, I think people would do well to adjust their expectations based on what Ribaldi's is trying to. If you're looking for sit-down, high-end, fussy pizza, there is an amazing option nearby; if you're looking for a great salad, there are takeout options nearby. But if you want a slice, or a takeout pie, this is absolutely the place to go in Hampden. This is especially true if you live in the neighborhood---call in a pizza, grab a drink at Dylan's, and pick up a hot pie on...
Read moreThe guy that runs the place isn't respectful to customers when taking orders. Also as I was sitting in the carryout waiting on my pizzas to get done I watched the guy pick his nose while preparing a pizza.I didn't know if it was my pizza or not so I stood up and address the bald head light skin person that was in charged and taking orders. I respectfully requested my money back and he wasn't Pleasant. When he gave me my money back it was a relief getting out of this place. All I can say that was my first and last time going their and I will report them so I hope they get their stuff in order and treat people and their food with respect. People are getting sick out here from people that preparing people food in a Unsanitizing way. Plastic gloves is required when preparing food. I'm glad I've got to witness this. People matter and good service matter. I feel when business are generating money they start to lose respect for...
