Seafood Day to Day — Restaurant in Baltimore

I wanted to see what all the fuss was about as I was seeing such high reviews plus I really had a taste for crabs. I went last week, nice place and wonderful customer service! I believe I met the owner, about an hr before closing, very sweet and he did let me know when he gave me my crabs, that they were a bit smaller than usual and maybe a few were lighter than usual. Now with that being said, pit into perspective, I ordered a dozen XL females @ $95… he did show me the crabs and at first glance they didn’t look that bad, but by the time I got home , got to take several out, I was truly disappointed. ALL of the crabs were light. I didn’t need a hammer to crack anything open , everything broke in my hand..plus the legs weren’t even big enough to make it worth the trouble of cracking them opened. Watery.. I was curious if these were supposedly “XL” and to me, they look like smalls or mediums at most.. so I KNOW the smalls had to be fetus crabs. Unless they ended up giving me whatever crabs they had left at the end of the day and just called them XL and charged me for it. I’m not even sure anymore.

I put my crab next to a Small onion, hopefully you can understand the size. My crab wasn’t any bigger than the top part of a crab mallet. Now they did give me a half dozen free. But it was a waste for me as I don’t even bother with small weightless crabs. It takes too much energy with too lil reward.

I can say besides the great customer service, the corn was amazing and they had the best garlic butter I’ve had in a while. I may give them another try in the summer, hopefully it will be...

(Update Memorial Day 2025: ❤️ Store still clean, gr8 variety, & wonderful ppl there, but Crabs were just alright; not as big, good, or meaty as previous times. I know that sometimes seafood, esp. batches of Crabs, can be OFF, and honestly, merchants kinda have no control over this. Planning on getting more steamed crabs + trying other Seafood from here soon: Will Post!✌️)

Trying to find a place to get Crabs @ a Reasonable Price here in Baltimore, MD esp May-July is not easy. Crabs were great price even got a deal Buy 1 Dozen 1/2 Dozen Free on Memorial Day which is today!

Seasoned PERFECTLY Very Tasty decent size fresh steamed sweet meat. Better than Many crabs her in the city & county 2-3+ x's the price. These crabs made my day, my friend's day, my aunt's day.

This Is Definitely my New Go To Spot I really like this place a lot there are very nice workers at the front, The first day I came here I was confused Because there was 2 stores split up but on the right side is Seafood Day to Day Unit A and the left side is Happy Times Seafood but I like Seafood Day to Day more because they accept EBT Food Stamp and I Bought The crabs and they were steamed and well in about 15 minutes with nice seasoning on them They also have different other items on display like Jumbo lump Crab Cake and stuffed shrimp but They were RAW when I got home I cooked them they were so good. the quality of the crabs were excellent which made them taste even better ( I highly Recommend them next door to them also offers some good Fried Seafood if u want to check them out but this store has the best...
