Inconsistency seems to be consistent here..........it seems there is a trend of missing items from an order. I guess I tend to trust people to do their job and have an ability to count. I live in Lakehills which is about 14 miles from this Churches franchise. After soccer today, me and the kid wanted chicken and wanted it quick. Normally it's the Forge for us but it was late so off to Churches we go. Now, I should have learned my lesson with this restaurant as it has happened before. Walked in and ordered (post-Covid order, so had to wait and couldn't use the drink fountain). Nice guy behind the counter - new I learned later, but apparently unsupervised. Ordered a 5-piece tenders, Mac and Cheese and drink for the kiddo and a 2-piece for me. Thanks a lot - have a nice day - off we go to Lakehills. My mistake is not checking the order. You guessed it. The 2-piece was not there. Called the store and spoke with Richard...........his solution was to drive BACK (that's 28 miles round trip!) to pick up the missing meal. Nothing for me having to eat Chef Boyardee and having to do dishes which was kinda the point of going to Churches. Oh well - - I guess I have learned to just stay away and go to the Forge and sit down and have Chicken that I can actually count or maybe the Forge can swing by Churches and teach them how to count? ...
Read moreThis location has definitely had its ups and downs over the last year that I have personally seen heard and experienced. In addition, my livelihood is food delivery yet have never picked up an order to deliver from this location so I didn't know what to expect today because I know that for my past personal orders there has been a hiccup or two... Which is fine I'm the person that will eat the food that I never ordered to begin with and pay extra and not say anything negative when things do happen. And I will still leave a 30 to 50% tip. It is just how I am. We are all human beings and deserve Grace especially in such a hard industry to work in people underestimate what food service workers genuinely go through. With that said, you can do whatever to my personal food but if you mess with my livelihood and their orders their food and my tips... Shoot that's a whole nother level. Period. Just leave it at that... Anyways, I go in to get my order for pickup and the gentleman in charge Maleake (I hope I am spelling that correctly) and his two employees did an absolutely phenomenal job and I sincerely appreciate his focus on getting the already time consuming order out to me promptly and by far best customer service I have seen at this location period. Thank you Maleake and your crew! Keep up the amazing work and you all deserve a raise and a day...
