Bandera Bunkhouse on Main — Hotel in Bandera

You know the experience of pulling up to a traffic light next to a car with an insanely loud, pounding sound system that drowns out your music and shakes your car so hard everything rattles? That is what tonight has been like at the bunkhouse except it doesn’t end as fast as the red light… the night club next door starts at 8:30 and is still going just past midnight. Not a chance of getting any sleep

This place is fantastic..it's a hidden getaway that's simple and quaint ..private and peaceful. And best of all, clean... I rented a room for two nights because I just loved it the first nite and didn't want to leave..Sandra was absolutely wonderful to me she represents this business so well she was friendly, accommodating, and made me feel as if we'd known each other for years.. Lyndsay I believe is the owner, and she was incredibly easy to talk to and had us checked in, paid and ready to go to our room...

The room was comfortable and nice and big, especially the bathroom. We enjoyed the comfortable bed, but it was very loud at night as the rooms are directly next to a bar that is open very late. The hot water heater was insufficient for keeping the water warm long enough to fill the big soaker tub that we would have loved to use. We could only get enough hot water to fill it maybe 1/4 full. Also the outside units were not marked with room numbers which made it difficult to locate our room...
