Mr B's Food & Spirits — Restaurant in Barnwell

I took my Mom there for her birthday on 2/16/19. (It was a Sunday and they were very busy which I understood.) We were told there would be a wait of about 15 minutes which was fine and after about 15 minutes we were shown which table we would be sitting at and advised to go ahead and fix our plates while the table was cleared and cleaned off. So we were sat at a dirty table. After going through the line and getting our plates, the table still had not been cleared or cleaned off. So we are standing there, plates in hand waiting for the table to be cleaned. I have never known a restaurant to seat you at a table that has not already been cleared and cleaned. Once we were seated, our drink orders were taken and brought. The service was not timely at all and the service was not friendly, at all. The server/waitress never came back to refill our drinks and when we were finished eating, I had to flag down a different server/waitress for our bill after waiting a significant time after we had finished eating, even sitting with my purse on my shoulder and then getting up and standing at the table waiting for someone to come by. I do not frequent this establishment often because I live in Walterboro and I do not plan to visit again any time soon. I hope the service is not this poor all of the time. I'm visiting family in barnwell and we decided to order to go from here. The menu has changed and is all over the place and the prices have been raised ridiculously. I've eaten in many fine dining restaurants that have more reasonable prices. My daughters 28.95 filet was supposed to be medium and she got med/rare. The girl on the phone asked then called back bc she forgot and wanted to make sure, so was told twice it was supposed to be medium. My mom ordered the ultimate seafood platter for 23.95 and the grilled flounder was bad, as in it should have been thrown out. I got the chicken ceasar salad for 11.00 and it was not a full chicken breast and the chicken was dry. The server was arguing with the back of house staff, she didnt even seat the customers that walked in. Just ran by saying sit where you want, but there were only five tables on a Saturday night and this is not the first time I've walked in and the servers were arguing and yelling at the cooks. I've worked in the restaurant business most of my life and have never worked or eaten at an establishment that is so dysfunctional, and very poorly run. It is apparent to me that there is a serious lack of leadership in this restaurant and whoever is running it doesnt know the restuarant...

My daughter and I came to mr. B's for a good meal. And what we got was a complete waste if money. First we waited in excess of 10 mins even the slightest acknowledgement from any memeber of the staff much less seated.i could see if it was busy but there were 6 tables open. The staff wondering around as if they were lost. We finally got acknowledged and told to find a seat. Then We waited even longer to be waited in while the same staff wondered around more. Finally got our drinks ordered they came out fairly fast. Then we ordered and waited some more I ordered a burger medium well it came out well and the fries were cold. My daughter's food was nice and hot. Then the sever came and asked how everything was I told her horrible the manager came out offered a discount and what I got was not even what you would even consider a discount. It was an insult. This place should have gotten 0 stars but I gave it 2 cause my daughter's food...
