Very strange but ice cream was completely flavorless. Never had this happen before. Both coffee and pistachio tasted like creamy gum after all taste has been chewed out. We were too lazy to go back and let them know cause the line was long for one of the first very warm weekends. Anyway hope they read this and fix the issue. Somehow they forgot to put in the flavor or essence or mix or something major. I first got the coffee Heath bar crunch taste in yogurt and it was zero taste of coffee. I thought it was the yogurt maybe so I ordered regular scoop of coffee and my husband ordered pistachio and coffee scoops. All had no taste. Were driving through town and decided to pull in here spur of the moment for a treat. We got an extra thick cabinet with black raspberry chip ice cream. The ice cream was excellent and it really was very thick! My only complaint would be that the plastic straw was clearly not up to the job. While other reviewers have noted that ice cream can be a bit pricey (for the one scoop at least), the price for the cabinet was competitive with other homemade ice cream places....

I have been coming here for years. Easily some of the best icecream I have had in this country and abroad. Quality ingredients, GREAT flavors and very friendly staff. Though they are only open ~7months a year, I look forward to the first day of business each march, and mourn its closure each September.
