Plant City Barrington — Restaurant in Barrington

I just had to come on here to rave not only about the establishment, but also the workers. I have been to the Providence location MANY times and feel that the food, atmosphere, service, and cafe option are always top notch, so I went into the Barrington location expecting nothing less… I found myself talking to a woman in the line about the eggplant parmesan takeout option I had in my hand and was quite surprised to learn this woman was the owner of Plant City. She was so delightful and kind… she explained that if I made some pasta ahead of time, and split the eggplant parm in half, it was a “great way to stretch my dollar and have dinner for two or some nice leftovers.” I told her how much I loved Plant City and she had the workers (who were also lovely) make me a complimentary drink for chatting with her and sharing my experience. I can’t speak highly enough about this place. Having been to Plant City in Providence, I was curious about their recent location in Barrington. The space is clean with a variety of seating inside and outside. The menu is a bit limited but has some good options such as a tomato & basil sandwich and pizzas. You can also find some dessert options including cookies and soft serve ice cream. It has a variety of options for prepared to go orders in its fridges and freezers including salads and wraps.

Unfortunately, I did not find the coffees to be superb. A regular coffee I had was a bit watered down and the iced chai latte I purchased one day was a little heavy on the syrup for my taste. Other beverage items can be purchased such as canned Oli Pop sodas.

I have been to all Plant City locations, but living in Warren, it’s so nice to have one in Barrington now!! The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful! Whether you’re sitting to dine in or take out you will NOT be disappointed in any way! The location, the quality of the food, the prices are all incredible. My employer treated my whole office to lunch here last Friday, (July 19) and most of the staff had never tried fully plant based food. The looks on their faces were priceless.
