I worked for 20 years in the food restaurant industry, 5 of which were on a top rated sushi restaurant so trust me when I tell you! This place is way sort of the mark. The facility is not bad at all and actually has great potential, which makes it a very deceitful place.

The customer service, the ownership and the food leave a lot to be desired. Additionally, the prices are absolutely inflated. You can go to any other sushi place in a 5 mile radious and have a far better experience and quality food at a much better price point.

I have been here in 4 different occasions thinking every time that maybe my previous visit was just bad luck. However, not only have I always leave disappointed, but every time has been worst than the previous one. Every time that I have been here I have gotten the feeling that they don’t need my business nor they want it.

If you reading this still want to give it a try and give them the benefit of the doubt “BE ADVICE” if you order a soft drink and you have to raise your hand because your waitress is not topping you off you will be charged an extra drink. If you run out of topping sauce and need extra,….you guessed it! You will be charged!…Before you know it your bill will be plagued with these $1, $2 additional charges every time you raise your hand looking to have service and without notice.

If you want to have a half decent experience in this place you will have to order carry out, and even then you will do yourself a huge favor ordering from some place else!

To the ownership and staff: Please don’t bother replying! I won’t be coming back and I know I won’t be missed but if you some how are able to take my review constructively I hope you can improve upon your shortfalls and truly become what you...

I ordered the "Sesame Chicken" entree. It is described in the menu as

"Sesame Chicken (D) Grilled white meat chicken w. Japanese style sesame sauce"

It showed up as chicken breast baked or pan-fried, not grilled, and crusted entirely in sesame seeds. The seeds were not much toasted by the cooking process and didn't have any appealing nutty flavor. They didn't create a crunch, per-se, but made a kind of hide around the meat. It was like eating fish with the skin on, or baked pangolin!

The meat inside was not dry or undercooked. But neither was it spiced or seasoned. It had the flavor of plain, unsalted chicken breast.

There was a side of sauce to go with it. It tasted more-or-less fine, on its own. It was basically a creamy peanut sauce you might get in a jar from the supermarket. I Didn't bother trying it on the chicken, because the chicken was just so unpleasant to have in your mouth, sauce was beside the point.

Is this a dish anyone orders twice? Or even comes back to try something else after trying it? I definitely feel like I was lied to by the menu description . And I have no intention of ever going back.

Veggie Pad Thai was sweet but bland, without a good balance of the other classic flavor components: sour and (we didn't as for it mild) heat. very liitle umamai. No veggies.

Veggie Udon was very tasty. If I had to guess, it tasted more of vegetable bouillon than any more traditional ingredients for bringing savoriness and saltiness. I doubt it was made with,e.g., mushroom broth, miso paste, drop of fish sauce, etc. Plenty of well cooked veggies. Broccoli and snap peas etc. and all were cooked but with a...

This is the first ever review I have ever written, good or bad. We truly enjoy the food at this establishment but am absolutly appalled with our recent experience. To make it short and sweet my wife and two boys took me out for a birthday dinner, we ordered and everything was going well until the server spilled an entire drink on my wife and son. After the “spill” everything seemed to get back on track until we did not get what we ordered. I brought it up was promptly served the accurate food. When we got the bill I was a bit taken back that there was no compensation for spilling a drink on my wife and son (mind you it ruined my wife’s purse, shirt, blouse, and made her completely uncomfortable the entire dinner) so I asked to see a manager. When asked “why” by a mid 20’s aged young adult, I explained that I was “confused” why there was no compensation for the frustration felt by my wife and son, he responded with “well, you did eat the food”. I get it, yes, yes we did eat the meal we ordered however when we went into the restaurant my wife didn’t have to buy a new purse or dry clean her blouse . Having to deal with a clearly inexperienced young adult with an attitude, in place of a manager on a Friday evening at 8pm, on top of the “not great” service is absolutely what compelled me to spend the 10 minutes to write this negative review. Save your money and...

Seemed like i got there after the lunch rush, and there were a couple of tables that looked dirty. My order was sitting in the middle on one of the tables. That seemed a bit odd. There also didn't seem to be a hostess stand. The entrance was a bit cramped, and i guess they were maximizing the seating. At any rate, the sushi was delicious. I enjoyed the spicy crab, seared tuna and mango, and california rolls, as well as the gyoza. If i had only one complaint, I wish there was slightly more rice, and one of the rolls was coming loose. I look forward to trying more of your offerings!

Found this place as highly rated here on Google and decided to give it a try. I was especially intrigued by their omakase menu with the seafood air shipped in from Tsukiji market in Tokyo. While it's not the omakase experience of one course at a time while communicating with the chef, it's a fantastic offering of the chef's picks. I found it to be a wonderful selection with great variety and gorgeous plating. Service was friendly and the drinks were great (try the white peach sake!) Took a menu home with us as we plan to order takeout, but we will definitely be back for dinner again.
