Seriously outstanding, reasonably priced burger!
The restaurant is low-key, in a bare bones building that looks like it was an old school fast food restaurant or something like that. If any of you are old enough to remember the old Taco Bellās with the stucco / adobe exterior decor, itās kind of that era. It definitely looks family owned. šš¼
They have a drive through, and the staff is very friendly and polite.
We were stretching our legs and doing a lap around the parking lot when we were suddenly overwhelmed with the smell of a mouth-watering charbroiled hamburger. We knew it was not a fast food joint, for sure. We couldnāt resist and the burger was better than weāve had in a very long time. (Double bacon cheese)
Thereās a whole menu that encompasses Mexican sides and entrees (I had a heaping plate of diced carne asada for $4.99!!!), including breakfast burritos, CA burritos etc. The asada was great and at home Iād be lucky to get 1/4 of that serving on a $15 combo plate.
We noticed other homemade looking sandwiches, and will definitely be making this a regular stop whenever we are...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've never had problems with this location in the past however today was awful. Whoever the female associate was with the ponytail and the blondish hair gave the worst customer service I've seen in a very long time. She appeared to be in her 20s and wore her hair back in a ponytail today. She had an attitude the entire time I was there. I'm a doordash contractor and I'm on a very tight schedule. I rely on speed and customer service. She glared while giving me service and did not have a very friendly disposition at all. This needs to be addressed because customer service is the most important thing in the hospitality industry and she has absolutely none. Not to mention she needs to pick up the pace a little bit more than she was as well. She was very very slow well moving around and putting orders together. It's almost like she just did not want to be there. She didn't even try to hurry up with my order. Again I'm a doordasher and I wasn't even there for myself I was there for another customer. Please discuss this with her and teach her the right way to handle orders and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSince getting a wheelchair for medical reasons, I have had several subpar experiences at malls, shops, and restaurants. Barlow burger was a pleasant surprise away from the normality of ADA noncompliance. I rode from the hotel in my wheelchair, about a block or so with some help, and the door wasnt terribly hard to get through, which, trust me, is depressingly unusual. I was also able to roll my chair into a seat at a table with relative ease- again, far less common than it should be. The restaurant, to the able bodied individual, is cafeteria style- you order, they call your order, you take your order to your table, yadda yadda. However, this time, one of the cashiers came out with not only my food, but the food of the other people at my table. It was a refreshing breath of hospitality. The burger itself was very good, my only criticism of the place at all is they clearly use strawberry Nesquik for their strawberry milkshakes, which is alright, its just not my cup of tea. Overall, very satisfied. Good, accessible service, especially for a...
