We called to make a reservation for 6 people more than an hour earlier, but when we arrived on time there was no available table for 6, and they didn’t try to combine tables to fit 6 because there was no enough space and it would block other tables. Not sure why they couldn’t tell us that when we called. The lady offered us to sit one of her 4 people tables. We were starving so we didn’t complain but we had to help ourselves moving chairs and utensils. You can tell if we felt welcome.
Regarding the food, duck spring rolls, duck breast red curry, and chicken satay are good. 2 stars for those. Pad Thai and drunken noodles don’t taste authentic though. Both are sweet and sour flavored and taste differently than most other Thai places anywhere. We ordered 3 orders of drunken noodles. 1 extra spicy and 2 mild. 2 of us ordered mild because usually drunken noodles are super hot, but in the end all 3 ordered tasted similarly without any spicy flavor. Even the extra spicy one tasted sweet and sour without hot flavor. I’m not sure if it’s their recipe or they were just being lazy and didn’t want to make an extra spicy one. Anyway pad Thai and drunken noodles are below average.
Edit: I just saw the owner’s response and I think it failed to answer my 3 questions as a customer. First is why they can’t be transparent about the limited seating space when we called in advance. Second is why they left us moving the seats and utensils without offering to help. Third is why they agreed to make us the extra spicy drunken noodle but delivered it as mild as our mild orders. I get it they have their secret recipe, but it still doesn’t make extra spicy similar to mild in flavor.
And yes to dear owner’s suggestion: Panda Express does suit my taste better, not because you profiled me as a Chinese (maybe that’s the reason for cold attitude during the dinner? truly not sure why), but because it serves food in similar quality of yours but...

It is crazy that the owner still rude about my honest review after 3 months. Not sure why his reply was deleted. And he is making it my fault. At this point, I don't even care if your restaurant gets 10 stars or -10atars. I won't be coming back at all. Those who like your restaurant, good for them.
It was quite a disappointing experience despite the amount of stars they got on the review.
Arrived at 4:45pm (15 mins after they open), they already ran out of duck Bao and chicken satay.
Their crying tiger which aimed to be 5oz of prime ribs came out miserable and sliced (totally different front their pictorial description). And unsure there was no 5oz of meat. The only fancy thing was the burner it came out with. Fried noodles were not that great, I could taste the dry noodle packaging from the chewy thin noodle.
Not to mention, they brought out wrong dishes to our table, and then conveniently took 1 plate back to the kitchen and came back out to the correct table which was just located behind us. We saw the whole process. Not impressed.
The place was cold because the dining area was basically a garage before it turned into a restaurant.
There are a few better Thai choices around that area by car. Not to mention for the quality of the food, this place is very expensive. Not...
Read moreAs a person who enjoys Thai food and stayed in Thailand for a while, this restaurant was pathetic. Since there are not many Asians, they might be able to run the business even putting hair in food. I hope people don’t believe it’s Thai food. Thai food is good, this restaurant is not.
I recommend other friendly bars if you don’t want to ruin the day in this town.
We ordered pad thai, Tom yum goong and chicken satay.
Chicken satay: This was only okayish food among what we ordered. We found a strand of short black hair, which was obviously from them, because I tied my hair and my boyfriend has curly hair.
Pad thai: It was really sour. No other flavor but sour. I don’t know if it was one time mistake, but they were annoyed by our complaint, so it was their original recipe and they believe their pad thai is good? I don’t know.
Tom yum goong: You get worse than average tom yum soup in a small cup, and it’s over 12 dollars.
One more thing, they try to sell steak with the model food even before you ask about it. Be aware of it, especially if you are not comfortable with...
