Juicy, perfectly cooked (medium) mushroom burger and crispy, golden fries. Tasty, nicely breaded country fried steak. Could have had a bit more gravy on the steak, and macaroni and cheese was average. Caitlin gave prompt and accurate service... which is much better than I'm accustomed to from a very young server. Atmosphere was quiet for a steady Sunday lunch in such an open setting, almost downright cozy. We'll definitely drive the 30-ish miles from Northern KY again for a meal this good!

One of my new favorites. Sadly I only got one picture since I was already 3/4 of the way done inhaling it. I had potato skins, meatloaf, steamed broccoli, fries, and apple pie with ice cream. I also took a few (9) bites of my dads tenders and they were the best I ever had, so was the apple pie and meatloaf. Amazing service and great atmosphere. *I may or may not have already tore in before even one of the pictures* I'm so excited to go back :)

Shelly H I believe the manager was super kind, courteous, helpful, and knows the menu well. The wait staff were attentive and courteous. The food was scrumptious and delicious. I suggest you get their Ruben Sandwich as it's in the top 5 best I've ever had and I've had many from many cities and states and multiple countries. Their Mozzarella sticks are excellent as well. If you're in the area and love good cooking stop in you won't be sorry.

Before I go any further, the food is absolutely phenomenal. Amazing quality chicken. I have no problem with the food quality whatsoever, the dampening of the experience is an inexperienced if not lackadaisical front of house staff. Grant it, I had been there one other time, but the serving wasn’t great my first time and the second time was outright horrendous. My family and I had a reserved table on a slow Sunday afternoon. After being seated, another party came in and was promptly seated. Then our waitress continued to take their order before ours. Obviously I understand that things happen, but they took 15 minutes or more to take our orders after that table and I had to ask for my drink several times to get it. Now having our wait extended put me and my girlfriend on a time crunch, I politely stated I was in a hurry and asked for my order to be to go. After waiting another 30 minutes, half of the table had food(the same meal as ours) and we still hadn’t received our orders. I asked if I could pay before getting the food and she took my card and to see about getting our food. She took my card, and my brother notices her rolling her eyes at me while walking away. Up until that point, I understood that it could just not be good planning, they were understaffed, something other than a poor attitude of our waitress. But with such a small town restaurant with clientele being primarily locals, to have such a bad attitude is detrimental to a business like that. I have a large family, all that were there, most that had been patrons for a while, that have decided to go elsewhere for the indefinite future. Serving is just as important as the food and I’m not going somewhere that seems to not want to serve me. The only reason for the second star is the amazing food quality. Would I recommend eating here? For the food, yes. For the service, you’d get better customer service with your cable company than you would here at...

This is a COVID-era review. All protocols were in place. Campbell's Barn has down home cooking, which is good because it's simple and filling, but bad because nothing we had was any better than what we could have made at home. The chicken entrees we ordered were hot and juicy, and the BLT was crispy in all the right places, namely the lettuce and bacon. The macaroni and cheese, however, was more macaroni than cheese, and wasn't even as colorful as the bright yellow macaroni and cheese you feed your kids out of a box. In fact, that box might have more flavor. The desserts came warmed a la mode. Warming the apple pie and blackberry cobbler made the crusts mushy on both. The cheesecake was unremarkable. It's cherry topping was identifiable as a store brand we buy. It's obvious that these desserts are not made fresh at the store. Most everything else seems to be. I have a personal pet peeve about service. It's a minor detail, but when I order tea (or water) with a lemon, I really expect a lemon when I get that enthusiastic refill. That didn't happen here. Also, the server dropped off our check, saying the trite phrase, "There's no hurry, folks." What this apparently meant was that this server thought he had no hurry himself, and spent ten minutes (yes, I timed it) talking socially with another table. That was a little off-putting and bordered on rude. Otherwise, Dustin was attentive and pleasant. Rather than rude, I will characterize this behavior as just careless. I want to go back and try some other sides and entrees. The value was pretty good for the portion size, which was filling. Hopefully this this will be read by the restaurant and these minor details can...

Went last night with the family and was not very impressed. The restaurant had very little customers inside and was short handed in staff. Went to the bathroom before we sat down and it was disgusting... toilet paper scatter, trash can over flowing onto the floor with paper towels, poop on the seats just not pleasant.

Came back ordered the food only given one menu for the adults and zero kids menus. The waitress was clearly in a major rush and seemed annoyed she had to wait on us. So she hurried up and read off the kids menus in her head. (Personally I’d like a physical copy to look at)

Went to order the food was told they were out of sweet tea and ruben. Ordered the mozzarella sticks and they were subpar at best. Massive chunks of fried batter on them making it extremely difficult to chew without hurting your teeth, marinara sauce was very spice. No one at the table ate all the mozzarella sticks total waste. Next came salads they were yummy, house ranch dressing delicious and really the only good food I ate. The main course onion rings, chicken bites, pork chops (fried), mashed tatos, gravy, roll and grill cheese was next. Kids only picked at there food and my course was very bland. The mashed tatos and gravy was very sweet like cinnamon was in them. The roll was bland and the pork chops had the breaded falling off.

For 3 of us it costs $50 which price wise is not terrible but given the staffs less then happy nature, the disgusting bathrooms and the food which tasted awful i personally won’t...
