MI Ranchito lll — Restaurant in Batesville

The margaritas are great the food isn't. My husband ordered a burrito steak and chicken mixed and the chicken tasted like shrimp when he asked why they said well we cook everything on the same grill... Most restaurants do but they obviously are not cleaning it well between if the chicken tastes like shrimp. How much shrimp do you need to cook in order for chicken to taste that way? and if you have a seafood allergery I definitely do not recommend. The guacamole was just gross.. I ordered fajitas. The wood plate it was served on was caked in leftover food it was pretty gross I asked why the waiter said it was just leftover cheese from somone else's food my food had no cheese....... I was like you don't wash it? They girl said yeah once a week..... so in this day when covid is a concern they are severing food on dishes previously used by other people without washing them first. We talked to the manager and she was not concerned about it, they comped my husband's burrito but she said the pan my food was cooked on was clean it was only the wooden plate that was dirty.... seriously ugh... Needless to say we didn't eat our food my chickens did and we won't be back because that...

This place has been a favorite of ours for awhile now. I can't seem to pass up their Coconut mojitos that keeps bringing me back. But this time I had to try the Birria fare and boy did they not disappoint. Normally I'd try the quesabirria, pizzabirria or the plain birria tacos but one new option I had yet to try. They have a new Birriamen or Birria and Ramen and it was just perfect for getting a taste of Birria and ramen without eating too much and my 3 year old son sure seemed to like it as well. We always come as a family and have a great time especially with the fresh chips and salsa and the queso blanco or white cheese dip. They have great tacos, fajitas and other food but what really stood out this time was their great service. The waiter was absolutely amazing and provided great service with a smile and a great attitude to boot. I should have written a review earlier but I definitely felt the time was right this time. Ok where to begin this place is a total disappointment I took the kids and gal to eat here we get there get seated had to ask for salsa and chips then 1 minute after receiving the menus we were being asked what we wanted to eat so we finally get chips and salsa after 5 minutes of waiting we are half way thru the salsa we finally get asked what we wanted to drink which took 10 minutes we decide what we want to eat takes 20 minutes to get food but two orders was messed up ithe ordered the shrimp quesadilla I got three pieces of tiny shrimp wrapped in a tortilla wth never asked if we needed refils so upon leaving I went the front register asked if there was a manager she replied she was ,again was shocked because her actions of setting on her phone not helping in anyway and the fact that she did not look or present herself as managment material when telling her my complaints was defensive never will we go back and we will be letting our friends know so owner of this restraunt YOU Might NEED TO GET A NEW MANAGER for this shift of Sunday evening 3pm before she runs it...
