Burger King — Restaurant in Baton Rouge

Today I visited BK on Highland Road near the North gates of LSU. After paying at the window I was asked to back up behind the yellow pole and pull back up to window so that as the cashier worded it, it would "reset my time". I asked her if she was cheating the system at which point she told me to just stay there. I frequent this location and every time (yes, every time) I am asked to pull up and wait to receive my order. Today it was rainy, so I suppose they did not want to get out in the weather. To the regular customer this may have gone unnoticed. I work in the service industry and understand manipulation of protocol to pad the stats-my specific job is to spot and correct these types of actions. As far as the food, Burgers were spot on (the reason for the 2 stars). The issue is, this location is habitually "out" of BBQ Sauce. The first two times, OK. But this is strike three and calls for a review. For the love of all things fast food, please ask your manager (who was standing on the expo station while I was being asked to play hopscotch with my car) to up her par on BBQ sauce. I hope this review falls into the hands of someone that will/can take corrective action. As a customer, nuggets should not be sold without BBQ sauce. As a food service professional, If this manager is training employees to "manipulate" your data, what else is she doing??? Thank you for your time in reading this, The 2-4-6 is my go to...

This place was a disaster. I went in around 3pm and it was deserted. That being said, the place was a disaster zone. Food debris, wrappers, and other things were left on tables, trash receptacles were overflowing, I watched the one guy preparing food pull out his phone with his gloves on - think about how many times he probably does that in the bathroom - so much for being sanitary, took me 30 minutes to get my order after waiting at least 5 minutes for someone to show up at the counter, and the self serve station was a mess. The drink machine had the top off and a chair in front as if someone had been working on it, the ketchup dispenser was dismantled, and no one seemed interested in cleaning anything. They all just stood around twiddling their thumbs and taking forever with drive thru orders.

Most employees here are incompetent at their job, in that that have the inability to handle/comprehend an order larger than one item. Employee Laweron and her fellow employees on a Friday were not only hardly able to understand my unbelievably simple order, but were also very cold and rude to us, and topped things off with an extremely unprofessional and very blatant glare as we began to pull away. When placing our order, she told me to pull around to the window after only mentioning my first item of order, without asking me whether or not that was all I was getting. When repeating the TWO items I ordered back to me after 5 minutes of trying to finally make it clear that I was ordering more than one item, she got it completely wrong about 50 times. Is this girl high? I am going to avoid this Burger King like the plague in the future....
