Jaws Hot Chicken & Seafood - Baton Rouge — Restaurant in Baton Rouge

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! I stayed in the drive thru for over 30 mins waiting on my fish, shrimp & chicken combo that was $20, I ordered fruit punch because their menu says they have coke products but I received a cup of super sweet red kool aid for $3. The fish was overly hard and it is NOT REAL CATFISH, it had no taste whatsoever. The shrimp was rubbery and chewed on like gum and the chicken tasted like it had been fried in old grease, the fries were under cooked and were super soggy and plate was full of grease. I called the store and asked the manager could I bring it back for a refund or a remake since the food was not edible he said no, told me I was lying because he made all the food himself fresh each time it is ordered. I told him I’m a black person and I’ve been eating fresh fried food since I was 3 and I’m 1000% sure everything on that plate was old and re dropped in hot grease. Update: I gave Hooks another Chance after the owner and the employee who I had initial contact with apologized and clarified the issue. The truck had not made delivery and he didn't lie so that was my bad. Since my return the salads have improved and been good. Really their food is always good that's why it was hard to not try again. Old: They double charged me for a kid's meal chicken strip and I ordered a grilled chicken salad that they gave me little to no lettuce after initially asking for extra lettuce. The food is pretty good but the service is not so good. The first time I ordered from them was ok except they didn't give me one item I ordered but the guy on the phone was very nice and told me that I could come back for it. Today was bad. We ordered online for specific pickup time. They didn't even start until I got there at that time. Took almost an hour waiting just to get home to find a plate missing. We called and the young lady was very snappy on the phone. Arguing that it wasn't in my order then when she found it she rudely told us to come back and pick it up. Well that was another 35 minutes to wait. They shouldn't have a option for a pickup time on there site if they won't have the food ready on time.
