I ordered the Two meat rib plate which came with two sides and drink. Between the two of us the bill was about $60.00. I ordered the baked beans and french fries. Also, I attempted to order potato salad but there was none available at time. I ordered two chocolate chip cookies which supposedly are baked fresh from oven, provided on way out restaurant. When the waitress served my order I was provided a pork brisket sandwich or something to that nature with fries. I began eating fries without touching sandwich because I wasn't going to wait on proper meal and waitress to come before getting something in my belly. I politely informed waitress about being served wrong order. The waitress immediately noticed the error and quickly notified kitchen staff. I hadn't eaten all the French fries and still hadn't touch sandwich. The waitress returned saying "Ummmm!!! (with a nasty expression on face), I need to have that plate back. I'm looking at her saying in my mind "you are disgusting" because she rather throw the food away than to compensate for error and amount of time I had to wait on order. Don't want to see a person with nothing free. When she returned with the correct plate, I inquired about cookies ordered by myself. When done eating the waitress said "we're out of cookies, so I took the charge off". Why didn't she state there were no cookies when first placed order. Makes me think she would have never served cookies while I still being charged for them. I don't think I will ever visit a Sonny's again in my life. This type of customer service leave a cemented stain. Coincidentally, dining at another restaurant I observed a complete free order allowed to be eaten by customer for error in served meal compared to what was ordered initially by customer. Even some of these fast food restaurants require returning faulty order when error occurred when placed order and no fault of customer. To bad the Zoomers didn't get a taste of real customer service which build those companies that provide employment; yet destroying that which allows them to pay...
Read moreOn August 25, 2025 , a worker at the Baton Rouge location by the name Sheryl(glasses and gold teeth in her mouth) received my cash money on the promise of getting me a slab of ribs, side orders , and some miscellaneous items. Which I shouldve received those items on August 26, 2025. (the next day) But I didn't get the items and I'm livid!!!!!!!!!! I gave her my cash because she said she had the hook up with frozen meat. I thought I could trust her because this isn't the first time I've done business with her . Even my friends do deals with her often . She did the unthinkable and took my money . I just want my money or my product that I payed for . I went to job on August 26 , 2025 was told she was not there but she told me she worked the rest of the week . I'm very pissed . I even emailed sonny's bbq nobody responded . It's like they looked at it and didn't care about my situation with your employee. For the past months Sheryl has been stealing others tips. Splitting it with other employees that bring her home . She also stated to one of my family members that Tawanda or Tawanna had the meat or she left the meat in her car . I just want my money or the product I paid for . all the managers I talk to seem like they are on her side . I don't think this right that she gets to walk around doing people like this . I'm...
Read moreWhat happened Sonny’s? To start, we were seated at a booth with 4 adults, a small child and a handicapped infant in a double stroller on a ventilator. So we moved ourselves to a table. When we tried to get the waitress’s attention who seated us, she just ignored us. For the food: The half rack Baby back ribs were tender but the size was that of a toddlers fingers. Honestly, the last 2 ribs were as small as my 2 year olds pinky finger. The fries for the last 3 times have been reheated tasting, cold or tonight overcooked. How can you screw up fries? My dinner had no bread, which was suppose to come with it, and my husband’s piece was as hard as a brick. My grandsons hot dog bun was broken, hard and could not even be smashed around the wiennie. Really? The waitress was so spaced out she could not think from the kitchen to the table. My daughter and husband waited for take home drinks they never got and when I complained about the ribs, we had to wait for another very small half rack to take home. I just wanted my ticket reduced like the meat missing from the half rack. Took 30 min to check out. The music is always too loud and too honky tonk. It used to be a nice...
