We stayed at the Lodge attached to the restaurant and were very happy with our service. Our server, a sweet older gal (I think Joyce? Her name tag was faded which I’m guessing means she’s been there a long time- Sorry if I got her name wrong) was one of the most attentive that we have had in a long time. She even asked the kids if they needed a refill for water. Sounds silly, but we go out to eat all the time and never get asked nor do servers hardly even pay attention to the kids. We ordered the fish sandwich special and two pizzas. The fish sandwich had two huge pieces of cod and the fries were great. Only complaint is the fish was a touch over fried and oily, but still tasted fine. The pizzas were large and flavorful. The Margherita pizza could’ve used some more mozzarella and basil, but again, kids ate it with no complaints. We ordered the Duck Pond Brown Ale from Jack Pine Brewery next door, it was very good. They also had happy hour going on for people who like domestic beers ($4). Overall, pleased with the service and ambience. We sat by the hotel entrance and the only feedback I could give would be to put a sign there so people know to go to the front and check in at the hostess stand. We observed a lot of confused people haha. Thanks!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious, plated nicely, had tasty vegetables served with it, and had excellent portion sizes (picture posted with review). They had excellent desserts, I had the chocolate torte which had a nice rich flavor, my father had the custard truffle which also had a nice flavor and came with plenty of delicious fresh fruits. Restaurant was clean, and was not very busy when I visited. The online menu on google did not match the in restaurant menu, however, so I ended up getting the rosemary porterhouse pork chop.

I am writing from the bar perspective. They had a solid selection of beers. Ace was our server on Thanksgiving and was fantastic! They make an amazing Jameson ginger ale without ginger ale.

Went for dinner. Our server was absolutely so so sweet and so kind. The Alfredo and the walleye had zero to no taste. Walleye was just such an off taste. Our server took great care of us. Manager girl, came over asked what went on. Had a terrible upfront presentation. Then went on to tell other employees who all stared at our direction. Unprofessional. And embarrassing. Again. Server was absolutely so so sweet. We tipped her well. We will not eat here again. We never complain and made it very clear we were very apologetic. Don’t charge $30 for fish that tastes old. Or $19 for Alfredo that had no taste. Drinks weee great!! If the manager responded in a kind professional way, we would not be...

We got right in at 6:15 on a Valentines day Friday. The tables were set beautifully and had fresh flowers as centerpieces. They had a V-day menu with 4 courses. That looked delicious but we chose to get sandwiches and an app instead. The waitress forgot which beer was what. The appetizer was brought out missing the 'house special' sauce and extra plates. Our sandwiches were quite delicious. I had the Hawaiian burger and my wife had a Nashville chicken. I had asked for ham to be added to my burger but it came out without that addition. The dining room was very nice and comfortable, even romantic. Then someone spoiled it by turning on some pop music that was a little too...
