Just minor things here and there for improvement, but my kids love it. Great for 12 and under. I love kids can use the slide with life jackets and parents can either go with or wait in the pool area below. Huge bonus. Water is warm and perfect for swimming. Happy hour is swim area was great! There was one great lifeguard on Sunday, the rest did not even pay attention or had friends near their station and just visited. However, there are signs that say "no lifeguard on duty". I would suggest the hotel find a system for the tubes as families waited for 25+ minutes as others lack consideration of others and would not give up a tube for families waiting. This is not the cleanest hotel, but not horrible. The swimming area locker rooms and drains were the worst. These are not deal breakers for us, we will return again.

We stayed Saturday into Sunday. Water park was dirty with bandages on the floor in random spots, a lot of the tubes were poor and weak from not being fully inflated, breakfast was very poor with not much for a selection, and our room (228) was dirty in the bathroom. Our kids took a bath and we struggled to get the drain open since the latch for it was broken, and we had to pry it open with a room card to drain the tub. We also were bitten by possible bed bugs as we have random bites on our bodies, including our children.

This a a place that suffers from classic lack of maintenance and interest from management. One of the two main waterslides was down all weekend. No mention of that at checkin. Around half of the kids water trinkets are broken. And one of the two basketball hoops are fully broken. Also they don't allow outside food or beverage, but just decided to close the bar/concessions on a Saturday. This used to be a great place to go but lacks seriously in management. Disappointed.

We stayed at Three Bears Waterpark recently on a Sunday night. We came Sunday afternoon and we were able to use the water park while it was open. The water park is not open during the week. We had a group with three families who had been planning to stay for 2 nights each.

The good: The pool area and the rooms and the breakfast area were all very clean and well kept. Rooms were nice and the breakfast was good as well. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The disappointing: our group had a very difficult time with getting accurate information about the hotel and waterpark hours. Each family was given varied information about opening and closing times . We were told that the water park was closed through the week. We actually canceled a second night that we had planned because we were not aware the water park was going to be closed when we booked. However, one small water slide was open along with the lazy river and pool. That was more than enough for our kids. Had it been communicated differently to us? We may have stayed a second night still.

The restaurant in the water park closed early because "they weren't busy". Our group of 12 had been planning on getting our dinner there. That was disappointing for us and somewhat of a headache. Our group likely would have spent enough to make it worth staying open.

When we were there the arcade was not working either. That was somewhat of a disappointment as we had planned on using it.

Summary: overall we had a great time at the water park still. One member of our group spoke with management and they seem to be very receptive to our feedback as well as very apologetic. Hopefully in the future they can have some better messaging and communication that they can share with future guests. If you made it all the way to the end of this review, just be sure to ask for verification on open and close times, etc. I would have liked to be able to give them a five star review but could not when considering the whole scenario.

We are definitely open to going back in the future with realistic hopes of having a...

This is a great hotel and water park! The room we stayed in had its own bunk room with four bunk beds (which included a TV and Xbox to our kids surprise). The room was very clean and comfortable.

The arcade was fun, however some of the games were out of service or not working properly and we wasted credits trying to do them (no out-of-order signage).

The water park had lots to do for kids of all ages (reference we have kids ranging from 2-9). The little cafe has good food, treats, and drinks (and a happy hour for adults). The hot tub looked like it needed a good cleaning, so we did not try it out.

The breakfast area had a decent selection, however it would have been nice to have pancakes or waffles like other IHG hotels (especially since this one caters to families with children/attached water park). Also the juice station was in the corner which was kind of odd and difficult for people to reach while others were getting food.

The staff were all super courteous and helpful!

The only reason I didn't give five stars, is because of some of the minor issues we encountered and some of the water park equipment/areas needing a...

Stayed a night at the hotel. The water park was great. It didn't smell like chlorine like so many of them do. We went pretty late (730 - 10pm) to the water park so it was us, one other family, and a whole baseball team of boy who were there in unattended while their adults drank in the hotel lobby. Life guards were great about keeping kids safe when they weren't on their phones or flirting with each other. They shut down the water slides early because it was storming outside, so that sucked. It was also annoying that they kept yelling at the boys for the same infractions (going down the water slide in a train, blocking the lazy river, rough play, etc) but never kicked them out or got an adult, which made it harder to enjoy the water park with my 2 young kids. The play structure is getting old and, in some places, looks a little beat up (paint flaking from sides of the water slide onto hands, floor mat with holes) but it's cool that they have so many different options. They also have a rack of life vests for patron use which is super cool...
