Jack Pine Brewery — Restaurant in Baxter

The staff are rude and not very helpful….After our event on Saturday, we decided to meet at Jackpine for beer and a little bit more of gathering. We were in the patio area which was far from the book signing inside the brewery. It was pretty chilly out with two out of three heating lamps that works for 5mins. We asked the staff to restart the lamp and the reply was “we are too busy for that right now” and never come back to look at it again when they were not busy. Then the author was talking about his book for awhile with very loud volume at the patio area which was not nice ambience to converse and drink with your family and friend anymore. We asked if they can turn down the volume a little bit for the patio. The response was “I will not” with no other explanation….if there are other breweries; we will probably never go back there again. Beer...

The beer isn't great, definitely tastes like they use concentrate or or artificial flavors in their beers with fruit.

On top of that, I was accused of stealing a pint glass (even though they don't serve actual standard full sizes). A bartender literally chased my moving car down to accuse me of stealing a glass even though one bartender thanked me for dropping off my empties. I had a full 16oz pint glass in my car from another brewery that they literally had to be so bored (because it was so slow) to look through my windshield amd front door from their bar.

When he realized it wasn't one of their 10/11oz glasses he realized his mistake and let me continue to drive.

The best beer I've ever had. Period. Jack Pine is the whole package- great beer, great atmostphere, and great people. From its inception Jack Pine was designed to bring people together and from the minute you walk into the taproom you feel welcome. The beer is fantastic and flavors and styles vary throughout the year- there are popular beers that are usually always available, but seasonal beers and special brews are always added to give you new things to try and fall in love with. Jack Pine beer can also now be found in various liquor stores, and restaurants, throughout the middle of the state, meaning that you can get their beer in more places.
