Mullen's Donuts — Restaurant in Bay City

Moved here from Indianapolis and looking for a donut place to surpass Long's Donuts. This is NOT IT! No menu posted for their drive-thru, can't even tell they have a drive-thru. The ladies were nice, I really wanted a couple of caramel or maple iced cream-filled, not Bavarian, long johns, but they only had chocolate, and unfortunately, I'm not real big on chocolate and then they had plain cream filled, which honestly didn't sound good so I passed. Not being sure what else they offered, I opted for a half-dozen glazed. We both ate one. I didn't like them because I could still taste the oil in the donut. He felt the same and said he didn't like the fact there was more glaze on the floor than in his mouth, lol. I'm not sure if I would go back for...

Extremely Courteous Service and Good Morning Greetings with smiles!

This was definitely different from the usual hum-drum, “How can I help you?” Definitely different from some Fast Food teenager bothered by your early morning presence.

Noticed right away this was not your normal donut shop. They had real fruit in their filling. You can taste the strawberries the donut. I also had one of their country sausage, pigs-in-blanket. Great flavor and they salsa with it. Which was a welcome surprise.

The seating area had a small town country feel and was very clean. Plenty of parking as well. Would definitely recommend this to friends for a quick...

Mullen's Donuts make some of the very best donuts and kolaches anywhere, I kid you not.

Here in Bay City, their donuts, apple fritters, and the incredible pigs in a blanket ("pigs" 😆) Are the stuff of Legends.

They are so incredibly good, you simply must try them.

The donuts themselves are also incredibly good, always perfectly fresh and often still warm.

Also, the apple fritters ..... 😋
