For the price point (and due to the fact that the permanent spa was closed for renovations), it really just is not worth it at all. I've been a variety of places and so the closest comparison I would make in terms of property type is Four Seasons. The Four Seasons probably would have been better given I know they have minimum standards for spa services.
When traveling, I like to get hydrafacials as that should be straightforward. The machine literally tells even the most novice person what to do. I always get 1 booster and if it is typically a decent service provider, I walk away from the experience being able to see a noticeable difference. Today I received a 50 minute hydrafacial with the britenol and my face looks no different than it did coming in, dare I say worse. Even in the most mid of places I've been, I see something but I see no change from when I woke up this morning to leaving the appointment. That is infuriating for me because I could have gone somewhere else and for almost $500, I expect it to be good. I don't even believe she used the britenol as I have never left a hydrafacial with this booster and not noticed visibly brighter skin.
Nothing. I am likely to try and find another place tomorrow because this is really unacceptable.

Went to the Four Seasons Orlando later that same day for a redo. That was a hydrafacial and it's at least $150 less (book with the woman from Ukraine). Better quality, better price and better spa amenities? Yes!. I will admit that the spa manager at Waldorf was very pleasant but I think what's going in there with the hydrafacial must be a scam based on what I experienced. There's no way I should have been able to do another one within minutes of leaving there and not had some sort of reaction if I'd really gotten one an hour before. Terrible to the point of comical.. I told my Esthetician in Miami that the Waldorf Esthetician's excuse was I "already had good skin" and we both got a good laugh at how stupid that sounded. The best skin in the world looks better after a real hydrafacial....
Read moreFrom start to end, my experience at the Waldorf Astorias Spa was 5 star! My husband and I are staying next door at the Signia by Hilton, and I’m 7 months pregnant, so I was able to ask valet to cart me over to the entrance of the Waldorf so I didn’t have to make the long walk, which was really convenient!
Upon arrival I was greeted at the front desk by Nicole who was exceptionally professional. She confirmed the service I had booked before taking me around the spa and explaining what amenities were available to me. The spa is so so clean, and absolutely beautiful. You can tell the staff is constantly tending to the area, refreshing towels & refreshments and keeping everything spotless.
After getting robes and slippers I waited in the relaxation lounge for my massage therapist to take me to my treatment room. Jody greeted me so kindly, and took me down the elevator to the treatment room. She made sure I got the FULL 80 minute prenatal massage & let me tell you, she has hands of gold. I’ve never had anyone take such great care of my body- it was by far the best massage I’ve ever had. The aches and pains that come with pregnancy were relieved for me and I couldn’t thank her enough. She clearly knows the musculature of the human body and anatomy of a pregnant women well because this massage was phenomenal and I feel amazing afterwards.
I’ve been to other fancy places even in other states and gotten massages but nothing has compared to this experience, it was worth every penny. I’m not sure what the employees are being paid but they need to be getting paid more for all of their incredible work and...
Read moreI would like to begin my saying that esthetician that I had for my facial was absolutely amazing, so was my husband’s. Very professional and knowledgeable staff. We both received great facials and massages during.
Front desk personnel was also very welcoming, pleasant and polite.
The Spa was clean and is in fact very large.
So, why not 5 Stars? Well, at one point I wanted to give 3 and only for few reasons - 1. There was no water in the waiting area nor in the locker room. 2. (The main reason I would have given 3 starts) the person who gave “a tour” WAS RUDE! It took all I had not to walk out. She gave “ a tour” to me and another group and the way she talked to me and addressed me was simply RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL who clearly needs to take a class on customer service. I did not pay almost $200 per facial to be treated that way. We stay at Waldorf Astoria for their customer service and I accept the same from Waldorf Astoria Spa. In addition, my husband did not have a male “tour guide” available, so he kinda wondered on his own and was not even offered the right size of flip flops (thankfully he wore his own), once again this is not what I accept from Waldorf Astoria facility.
Lastly, when we both met in Tranquility room no one came to see if we wanted a drink or needed anything. In fact, when my husband got lost on his way ( as I said it is a large Spa) there was no one to assist him. And when he finally found someone it was the same RUDE lady who drilled him with thousand of questions before she told him where to go. Ugh!
But at the end, the services were...
