La Chula Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Bay Saint Louis

Worst service and experience ever. I went here to this location with my wife after a long day at work and expected at least decent service. My wife and i have ate here before but this time ended it for us. Server was a new guy horrible. Never refilled drinks or even bothered to ask. Brought our food really late about 45 minutes after we ordered.( There was only 4 tables of people in whole place with people at the time. ) we watched 3 of the 4 tables say after us and brought food before us as well. Our meals was quick to prepare she ordered tacos and me cheese enchiladas.((( Hers came out over cooked meat really hard like rubber))) and mine had cheese sauce on it with ((((a really long black hair right mixed with the cheese sauce. You could clearly see it...))) (((what the hell)))) the manager a lady sucked. Seemed like she was new asked if I wanted another plate? ?? I said preferably one with out a pubic hair in it. . Brought me another plate about 4 minutes later and I asked for drink refils (((never got one. ) )) not that I expected free food or a discount for the hair in my food along with horrible service but not even a discount or anything not did the ((manager)) come back to see if my food was ok. If you have another choice (((do not))) go to this place. Go to another Mexican restaurant. This one has no customer service. By the way I used to manage restaurants when I was younger. This would not have ever been ok at...

I've eaten in the restaurant and had food delivered. The food is good and my experiences in the restaurant were good. Delivery though...great the first time and not good the next.

I ordered online and requested corn tortillas instead of flour. When my food arrived it was cold and no corn tortillas. I called the restaurant to tell them of the mix-up on the tortillas. The man on the other end of the phone complained about the delivery service. He went so far as to say they might fore the delivery people.

Instead of a solution for the wrong tortillas (which O had to throw away) I was offered excuses...always blaming the delivery people.

I live maybe half a mile from the restaurant and wasn't feeling well which was my reason for delivery. It would have been 15 minutes round-trip for the restaurant to send over the corn tortillas. Instead I was told it wasn't their fault because they don't see my ticket...it's called in by the delivery service.

I suggested they have the delivery service bring me the correct tortillas and Instead was wished a pleasant evening..

I've ordered delivery from another Mexican food restaurant in the area and never had a problem.

Being brushed off has me questioning if I'll ever bother to eat there again...dine-in, otakeout,...

They took my order an had a problem with me wanting 3/4 carne Asada tacos with rice and beans with cheese on top. They said it’s $3.50 per taco and $2.50 for rice and $2.50 for beans with cheese on top. I’m sorry the food may be ok but the prices are high. They seat you take the order forgot to ask me what I wanted to drink 🤦🏻‍♀️ they didn’t come check on me after they gave me my tacos. I had to keep going up to them to ask for what I wanted or need. Or I would see them at someone else’s table then I would say, Excuse me can I get a glass of water please? Then they would bring it to me. But I had to ask for what I want or need. My waitress didn’t come to me until she was giving me the ticket a trying to make conversation with me saying she was apologizing for taking so long a for my long wait. But anyway I won’t go back there, but if somebody else is pays. I’m definitely not paying for the food and bad service they gave me. You know what I didn’t have the same waitress I had 4 different people because my waitress was always outside smoking on her phone lol..
