China House — Restaurant in Bay Village

I used to love China House but this food was absolutely horrible and unacceptable to serve. First, this was supposed to have a gravy on it. Second, it was SO dry and nasty, most of the chicken was just hard crisp pieces with no meat. Cannot believe they charged almost $12 for that. The sweet and sour chicken was dry and tasted like it was sitting it old oil. It didn’t even look like chicken. The reason for two stars is because the shrimp chips were good and the fried rice. Unfortunately, this will not be a business I will return to considering there are way better quality chinese restaurants...

Good place, generally. A clean, well-lighted establishment. Food is right-on for a Chinese-American style restaurant in our region. Food quality is greatly improved from a few years ago...not sure what happened, but it was most certainly for the best.

Unfortunately, I've had a poor experience with online-requested pickup times in the past few months. Roughly 20 minutes late for each of the last four or five orders when I arrive to pick up food.

Would very much like to continue supporting this restaurant that is so close to home. Tough to suggest if one is on a tight...

This place is unbelievably slow. After placing my order, I was told it would be a 30 minute wait time. We had arrived 30 minutes later. From the moment I got here, they were confused by the fact that we had paid over the phone. Then after waiting 30 minutes for the food. I had asked what the wait time is. They had told me it would be a 5-10 minute wait, and that they have started my order. Which is absolutely incorrect, as we waited for about another 40 minutes. Another customer had stated he has been waiting for “over an hour” The system that is going on is clearly...
