We’ve been to Wolf & Co Pizza in Bay Village before and enjoyed their woodfired pizza, which is why we were excited to return for a family meal. We ordered three pizzas for our family of four, as we all have different preferences, and the pizza itself was good—crisp crust and quality toppings, as we’d come to expect. However, our latest visit was completely ruined by the manager’s unacceptable behavior and lack of customer service. When we asked for boxes to take our leftovers home, the manager refused, stating they were “low on boxes” and needed them for takeout orders. We also explained that stacking the pizza slices without boxes would ruin them—the cheese would stick to the bottom, and the crust would get soggy. Her response was a curt “Well, we need the boxes for takeout.” No attempt to find a solution, no apology—just outright rudeness. When I pointed out how surprising it was that a place known for its pizzas could be low on pizza boxes, she snapped, “I am well aware of that,” and then turned her back and walked away. This dismissive and condescending attitude is inexcusable. Why should dine-in customers be treated as less important than takeout orders? We were forced to transport our pizzas home without boxes, and, unsurprisingly, they were a mess by the time we arrived. It’s incredibly frustrating to have a good meal ruined by such poor service. Despite the quality of the woodfired pizza, the manager’s unprofessionalism and disregard for customers make it impossible to recommend Wolf & Co Pizza. There are other places in Bay Village that offer great pizza and actually value their customers. We won’t be returning and suggest you steer clear unless you’re prepared for...
Read moreDined there for the first time recently and I have a few notes. The restaurant itself is very clean and chic looking. However, the hightop tables are quite small for the four people that they are supposed to seat. When you factor in plates and drink cups plus even a singular pizza holder stand does not leave a lot of room at all. We ordered the Wolf’s bone appetizer, a house salad, and three pizzas (italiano, braised beef, and the mushroom pizza). The house salad had olives in it with pits, which was surprising to the person who ordered it. Im not sure if they were supposed to be pitted or not but its something to be aware of if you order it. All of the pizzas tasted great but the mushroom pizza had the most diverse and interesting flavor profile in my opinion. However the braised beef pizza had a very small amount of actual beef on it and the pizzas themselves had a large amount of crust compared to topping. Another thing that came up was that since the table covering was a sort of butcher block paper, it tears very easily once your drink starts sweating. In my opinion, the pizzas are not worth roughly $21-24 dollars based on the crust to topping ratio and the amount of topping you actually get (ex. braised beef). But, the taste was still...
Read moreWe were very excited to go after everything we heard. Probably not going back. Server walked by us several times, a good 10 minutes, before acknowledging us. I understand she had a 9 top with separate checks, but a little eye contact goes a long way. The interior is cold and uninviting. The only booths they have are hard plywood seating. Not very comfortable. The Margherita Pizza was tasty, but way too much crust. I'm not paying for crust; I'm paying for pizza. The pizza was also limp to pick up and basically soggy dough by the time you got to your second slice. We asked for a little extra sauce to dip the crust in, and they brought us marinara sauce straight out of the cooler. They couldn't take the time to warm it up a little. Overall, a disappointing experience and with pizza places everywhere, it will be easy to pass...
