Aside from the awesome costumer service with employees that actually take the time to ask your name and have a conversation, on top of the amazing vibes the intimate dining experience provided, this place legit has a top tier menu.
I literally love wings, this place had a sign that said “best wings in Cleveland” and I had to stop and decide for myself, because a lot of restaurants I’ve seen say this and they usually cap 🧢
For one, They absolutely do have the best wings in Cleveland. No cap, like literally the absolute best. They weren’t dry, weren’t overly wet with sauce because (they don’t toss their wings - amazing) they tasted like they were slow cooked in a smoker but they weren’t. On top of that they separated my drums and flats which made me so happy.
The sauce ? That’s what made this place really get on my good side. I tried the Cleveland Gold sauce and I swear on my mama it was so delicious I wanted to beg for the recipe.
There was a guy sitting next to me who had two other sauces that he let me dip my wing in and they were both absolute perfection and I am going to try them again soon. They also had really good Brusselsprouts. Like amazing. And their Mac and cheese was amazing too, I’m not joking like it was perfect.
Please please don’t take my word for it. (Although I rarely write a five...
Read moreIn my opinion, this was a pretty poor experience. My wife and I dined-in at the Bay Village location, and it was not what we expected from a restaurant with very high ratings.
Chicken tenders were slightly above room temp.
Everything was over-salted, even for fried food.
One of the workers was cracking trans jokes while one of his other coworkers was wearing a trans pride shirt.
Beer selection was so-so.
One of my two sauces was chill, so made my room temp chicken even cooler when dipping.
No receipt until after you pay, and they fail to tell you anywhere they automatically take out 20% in tip, but then ask on the screen if you want to tip (which of course I did). Once I got my receipt, it became obvious they added a tip without informing me.
Wife ordered an "apple/pumpkin" flavored cider, but was given a chocolate tasting liquor.
Overall, it was a bad experience in our opinion, which shocked us given the high reviews this establishment is somehow...
Read moreThis is the kind of place I wish I had back in my home town. I was warmly welcomed as soon as I came in and not in that artificial corporate way but in a way that made me feel like a neighbor. The cooks were chatting people up at the bar like they were all regulars and other customers were even interacting with other groups - it was infectious. It felt like how old-timey diners are portrayed in movies where everyone just kind of knows each other.
The people here exuded a level of pride in what they did that permeated everything they did. I couldn't help but notice how SPOTLESS the grease catchers above the fryers were - I have never seen them so clean. I was there till closing and one of the cooks passionately described the techniques he used to keep everything so clean.
This place is a gem - I don't have to say anything about the food even because the service is that good. If I lived anywhere near, I would come...
