UPDATE: I had one more refill at this location. scheduled a pickup for 4:00pm. I figured with my past experiences I should not expect them to have it ready by then, so I came in at 4:40pm, and it was still not ready. How is this possible??? I figured in the past when I came in without scheduling a pickup, that the 15 minute wait was due to this. nope, no matter what you do you’re going to get stuck waiting when you pick up a perscription here! never again. UPDATE: went to pick up another perscription, decided to give this walgreens one more shot. techs still don’t seem to know what they’re doing. i waited over an hour after my perscription was sent in this time due to having to wait 30 minutes for my perscription last time when i went directly after my perscription was sent in. i figured since i waited over an hour before coming in this time, my perscription would be ready. this was not the case. my perscription was STILL not filled when I arrived, despite it being a pre-packaged bottle of eye drops (what is there for them to fill?? all you’re doing is putting a bottle inside a bag!) never going to waste my time at this pharmacy again.
pharmacy techs are rude, often seem to discriminate based on age. pharmacist tami is great and very chipper but tech terri has been consistently rude every time i come to pick up a perscription. think she needs to work on her personality or find a new...
Read moreBy far the worst pharmacy. I have been going there since 2006. Once Dave left it got a bit slower, but in the last year or so its unbearable. This week was the final straw. They have three people behind the counter. Yet there is never more than one person at the register. Monday I went to pick up multiple prescriptions. I was in line with 4 other people behind me and two in front of me. It took over 13 minutes to get to the counter. The woman working the counter let the pharmacist know there was a line. The pharmacist and the third woman behind the counter acknowledged the woman working the counter, yet no one would help her. I received one prescription, and let them know that the doctor called in another prescription. I was told they never received the call. On my way home I called the doctor to ask if they had called it in. They let me know that they had called it in 5 hours prior. I called Walgreens, the pharmacist told me she filled it already. I let her know that I was just there 5 minutes prior and was told it was not called in. She said she had not put in it the computer and offered to ship it for free with in 48 hours. I agreed. Now it is Friday, the prescription has not arrived. I call again and ask where it is and they tell me that it never left the store. I will now go back and see what happens. This will be the last time I use...
Read moreRating this as a mini-mart vs. a pharmacy, as I don't use it for prescriptions. As a store, it does have a bit of a limited and confusing selection. There are some "local" Bay Village options which are overpriced and I can't imagine sell too well. They have a lot of pretty random things - none of which ever seem too helpful to me. If you need something in Bay of the drug-store variety, I would drive two minutes to the CVS...
