I went this past Sunday June 9,2024. It was like 4:30 when we arrived the door had problems to open so we taught it was closed but we knew it was early and we looked inside the manager is on the computer he ignored me and my family for like like 5 min he kept doing what he was doing minding his business while we are waiting outside with the sun beaming at us I didn't leave beacuse my brother in law had never been there and wanted to try the chocolate pancakes and we were really hungry. We asked if its open he just kept ignoring us. Then when he felt like it he was like push hard instead of going over and opening the door to help and greet us since he made us wait like a good manager would do later we found out the door has problems and the manager didn't even greet us with a smile he looked like he was bored of life didn't feel like working. I saw him cleaning the tables very sloppy too and the food was cold and portion of bacon was hilarious does not compare to the Ihops in US that I have visited. Carlos the waiter was very nice he made our visit very pleasant. I personally think he should be the manager beacuse he knows how to treat customers. The place needs to be more cleaned the garbage was out of the trash can I couldn't believe I was in a Ihop beacuse of what I was experiencing waiting time was a lot considering it was slow it wasn't that many people and they had a section closed beacuse it was cleaned already and had everyone sitting in the same area. This place needs good reliable and efficient manager who is willing to work beacuse all the waiters seem nice and doing there work but the manager needs to go. It needs someone willing to work and treat customers with respect he obviously forgot where his paycheck comes from. I honestly can predict this place shutting down beacuse of...
Read moreIHOP in Bayamón is the place where breakfast dreams come true—and where pancakes are practically a love language! From the moment you walk in, the cozy atmosphere and welcoming staff make you feel like it’s Sunday morning at grandma’s house (if grandma had unlimited syrup flavors, that is).
The pancakes are, of course, the star of the show—fluffy, golden, and stacked as high as your appetite can handle. Whether you’re a purist who sticks with the classic buttermilk or you like to get adventurous with the stuffed French toast, every bite feels like a warm hug. Pro tip: If you don’t get the pancakes, the breakfast gods might judge you (but the waffles are a close second).
The rest of the menu is equally tempting. From omelets that are basically art to burgers that rival any diner, there’s something for everyone. And let’s not forget the coffee—it’s not fancy, but it’s the kind of comforting cup that keeps the conversation flowing and the yawns at bay.
The service? Top-notch. The staff manage to keep the place running smoothly, even during the weekend breakfast rush, which is no small feat when the whole town seems to show up at the same time.
IHOP in Bayamón is more than just a restaurant—it’s a breakfast (and lunch, and dinner) institution. Come for the pancakes, stay for the laughs, and leave with a full belly and a smile. Just don’t be surprised if you find yourself daydreaming about syrup-covered happiness until...
Read moreUnderwhelming is a good way to describe the experience. We were called to be seated and I think host points to table and walks away. Not even sure he did that much as he just disappeared and wer were not quite sure where we were being seated. Then we sat with no menus for quite awhile. Server eventually came , asked for menus and were given 1 for the entire group Ordered an appetizer sampler and were never given plates for it. "Eat with your hands peasants!" Had to grab a ketchup from a nearby table Server never did come back and ask if we were ok so couldn't ask for plates either. Food was not as ordered when it finally came. Came out slowly one entree at a time. Eggs were cold by the time they arrived. Could not even ask for it to be remedied because server disappeared and we didn't want to eat spit. Daughter ordered fruit, it never came and was not on check at least. Server never checked back on table. Never offered refills on drinks. One entrée had some hard mystery item along with the strawberries on pancakes. We asked Server about it because child had to spit it out of her mouth, and the kitchen sends back a reply that MAYBE it's a piece of fried potato (or something) that fell in the strawberry compote. No apologies about it. Needless to say but, pretty sure we spent $150+ and we won't...
