LongHorn Steakhouse — Restaurant in Bayamón

I want to first say that I am surprised at the very poor service I received and the fact that longhorn has shown no urgency whatsoever at an attempt to apologize at minimum. On this evening I decided to take my children out for our last dinner while on vacation and its the worst decision I ever made. First thing I waited 45 minutes for the booth that I requested and an hour later was sat at the bar with my 3yr old, 10 yr old and two teenage boys. I asked why I couldn't get the booth I requested and they said the tables were closed although no one was sitting there. As we sat at the bar we could clearly hear and see the host and bartender arguing because the bartender didn't want us seated there. Next, we were greeted by a server and not the bartender which confused me more on why we just couldn't sit at a table as a party of five. We received our food in a timely manner but all three of the adult entrees were very much undercooked. One well done burger and two medium-well steaks all came out medium-rare and medium so we waited another 30 minutes for our food to be corrected and by this time the restaurant was closed the server didn't even return with our sides, when I asked for them he acted as if he was appalled and replied with a simple "the kitchen is closed" but still charged me full price for our meals with no apology no manager no nothing as I observed her playing around with other servers and making sure they had larger bills for the singles they handed in. Nothing was taken off my bill, no manager came to the bar and no one apologized for this experience at anytime throughout the chaos. Came in to celebrate with a family dinner and what we got was horrible service. Our waiter was Yonelis. She started off well but as the night went on it went down hill. When we asked for refills she never came back. We waited of 45 min for appetizers. And when we asked her about it she said “ it’s coming out I didn’t forget “! It came out cold. We waited about he 45 min and out food hasn’t came out yet. We didn’t see her anywhere to ask her what was taking so long ( the restaurant wasn’t busy.) we then asked a waiter to help out and find out. When the Yonelis came to let us know what was taking so long she said in Spanish “ you guys have to be patient your food is coming out soon “ with a fake grin. She then come with our food and puts it on the table and storms off. The food was cold and felt like it was on the counter for ever.

I can understand that people might have there hard days like we all do. But we are understanding. Let us know that it’s busy , but continue to show good customer service. There was nothing good to say about her service. No sorry from her or remorse.

At the end she was like where’s my tip please leave a tip. Like come on. You don’t say that.

Longhorn West Main ave. in Bayamon. Isn't abiding to this brand's standard. Facility is well kept and clean. Surprisingly, Sunday afternoon had no waiting list for sitting. All to my disappointment, service and food fell short from premium. A side order of sauteed mushrooms, never made it to the table although it managed to appear on the bill. Menu shows a good explanation for one to order a nice steak. So, a bone-in Ribeye was ordered. The steak took more time than necessary to arrive, it wasn't cooked to perfection as I requested medium. Steak wasn't as thick as presented, visually it appears to be way less than 1 inch thick; I would say slightly more than half an inch. It looked maltreated on the grill, no grill marks, a lot of shar where it wasn't suppose to be. Worst than anything, the steak had been cut almost straight across, damaging for good the appearance. As a final comment is mandatory to say that the price of this cut is $34.99 for which that steak wasn't worth half...
