McDonald's — Restaurant in Bayonne

Giving this MCDs a horrible review because of thee worst customer service experience I had tonight with them, but it isn't the first time. It's only regarding the evening/night crew.

I ordered curbside pick up because I knew the drive through would be a little busy and I didn't want to walk in the pouring rain to get my food.

I placed my order while I was about 5 minutes away from this location. I parked in front of curbside 3 and I tapped on the app where I was. It said 3-5 minutes my order would be out.

I waited about 15 minutes because I knew they were busy. At 20 minutes, I now parked my car closer to the entrance and was about to walk in to get my food instead. The door was locked and the worker told me 2 go through the drive through. The line was insane! I already placed my order now about 30 minutes ago. Why can't you just give me my food? Again told me to go through the drive through.

I went around and got in line. This is about 40 minutes now. Waiting to get my food. I'm pregnant and hungry and this was how I was treated. Absolutely unacceptable if you ask me.

I get to the window and I ask for the manager. While waiting they gave me my food. Guess what, now everything was so cold because they took forever to give it to me. It was missing my Fries and my sauces all ordered on the mobile order.

Manager gets to the window, says she apologizes, but she didn't have enough crew to send someone out? Seriously? So you were just going to leave me out there wondering when my food was coming out? She asks what she can do for the inconvenience, really? You should have just reimbursed me and give me a free dang meal for the horrendous experience tonight.

I will never again come back to this location even though it's more convenient for me. I'll drive further whenever I'm craving I guess.

ZERO ZERO ZERO STARS for the night shift. Ridiculous can't even describe it perfectly!! It's beyond appalling tbh.

Tell me if my fries are even a large when they didn't even fill it up.

Manager, do better. ...

sighs honestly, McDonald's is that emergency brake glass place. You go there only if you truly have to. The drive thru can be a roll of dice when placing your order. Inside the staff is usually good as you stand waiting for your order amongst the mostly oblivious other patrons. While waiting for your surplus food that to me is akin to Jr. High school food you notice that dinner things have changed in this establishment. There are no longer napkins or ketchup it any condiments for that matter readily accessible to you. Instead you have to ask the staff for those things all the way down to a cup of water or a cup of ice or a cup of hot water should you want that. Not stating that you will get it for free anymore. Yes I was told that I could not get a cup of hot water wake up of water with or without ice for free. As a matter of fact I was told they would not even sell me a cup of hot water. Although the food can be used as a source of stuff to fill your stomach it is very generic. McDonald's like many other fast food joints is on the list of extinct animals and I honestly don't expect McDonald's and the plethora of other fast food joints to be around a lot longer. Again this place is just a last resort. I could not recommend this...

I don't know what happened to my first review.......its gone. Anyway, although I've only been to this location four times in my entire life I do recall it being not as good as it is now so they made some improvements since it's been rebuilt. It's what can only be described as a older newer version of McDonald's. Some of the seats look a little tattered but the places clean overall. A few days ago I went there for a quick breakfast and I have to say the service was extremely fast. The food was good but my only complaint is they no longer give out little cups with cream in it so you can add the exact amount of cream one to your iced coffee. The staff determines how much you get which really doesn't sit well for somebody who has a particular threshold of cream they were willing to consume in one coffee. Even though they over creamed the coffee I have to say it was still really good. The McGriddle, which is an item on the menu which I am very unfamiliar with was really delicious. They don't give out many napkins and I don't see a napkin dispenser anywhere but I think that's now normal at McDonald's these days. I'm definitely not a fan of any McDonald's. I rarely go to them but I have to say this one is not bad. Will I return again?...
