The Palm Grill @ The Sea Shell Resort — Restaurant in Beach Haven

Would leave 0 stars if I could. Truly the worst and most embarrassing restaurant experience. Made a 7pm reservation for a party for 14 people. The staff sat us at a table that clearly could not fit 14 people and insisted that it was the correct table, making us wait an additional 20 minutes before scrambling tables together even though it was completely empty. Early on into the service one of the waiters dropped ketchup ALL OVER 2 women in our party, ruining their white pants, and getting the ketchup all in their drinks. (Drinks they were still charged for) The manager offered little to NO compensation on the bills, and then the compensation she did offer, she managed to still leave on the check. Further more, they continued to ring up the check incorrectly 3+x. We physically marked on the checks what was incorrect, and showed them how to fix it, and they still came out an additional 2 times with the checks incorrect. They held us hostage in the restaurant for AN HOUR trying to figure out our bill, and in the end STILL GOT IT WRONG AND INCLUDED GRATUITY. This place is a total vibe. Great place to grab a drink, sit with your feet in the sand and enjoy some good music. We had a great time. We were however disappointed with the food. The lobster roll was pretty skimpy for the price and the shrimp in the tacos was completely void of flavor. The only thing you could really taste was the cocktail sauce. Sooo much you will love about the Palm Grill. It is a great rooftop bar with a tasty menu on the Bay side of LBI. Attentive bartender. So GO! Enjoy the view and the cool breeze. Take your date, friends and family and relish the day. Have an appetizer, beer, wine, canned cocktails or a Manhattan, G+T and enjoy. Just stay away from the cocktail menu.
