I bought two tickets online for the performance of The Duprees on July 14, 2025 at 8PM that were supposed to be picked up upon arrival to the theatre. We got stranded on Rt 287 by a dangerous storm that threatened all over New Jersey but mostly central and south Jersey. While traveling to the site, we called several times as the flooding areas had gotten worse to a point that everyone had to stop the cars for a long while because the situation got very dangerous...as a matter of fact two people died in the area when their car was carried away by the currents. Obviously, when we heard on the media that NJ Governor had declared New Jersey an emergency area. I've sent an email to "Gail" but no response. Also, made few phone calls and I even asked for credit to see another show. Someone was supposed to call me and to this day July 28th, no one has called me. If anyone can provide me any information as to what I can do to get credit for my money.
The SURFLIGHT THEATRE "OWNER", answered my review. HOWEVER, TO THIS DAY EVEN WHEN I'M NOT ASKING FOR REIMBURSEMENT ON MY TICKETS, I HAVEN'T HEARD OR READ ANYTHING FROM HIM ABOUT CREDITING ME AT LEAST WITH TICKETS TO ANOTHER PERFORMANCE. I understand that people who lives in the area were able to attend the Duprees' performance on July 14th, but we're two ladies from Little Falls traveling under dangerous circumstances. I work hard for my money and there was nothing I could do as the traffic on Rt 287 north was stopped for more than an hour due to flooding. I did speak to a girl named PAT at the Box Office three times during the trip, and also HAVE a copy of an email to "Gail Anderson" explaining the mishap. Three weeks have gone through and no one has gotten back to me. Message was left two weeks ago with another lady at the Box Office, she promised me that someone will be contacting me, I left my name and phone number with her. Today, I left voice message to Steve Steiner and Gail Anderson again....I hope this time someone from SURFLIGHT THEATRE gets back to me. I've read very well their policy regarding these circumstances and I am entitled to a credit to attend another performance of the same...

Read moreJust saw Bright Star. It was absolutely fabulous. Steve Martin was one of the writers and he did not disappoint. The acting, choreography and signing were all just amazing. They were all seasoned professionals so it should not be a surprise. The sound system is the best I have heard in any theatre including Broadway. The layout of the theatre is perfect. There is not a bad seat in the house. The stage is set to a perfect height so you are not looking up. I only wish Bright Star was playing there longer because I would go again and my friends agreed. There is free parking nearby. If the weather is good you will want to visit the ice cream shop next door. This theatre has everything you could hope for from a Broadway production without the time and cost involved with traveling to NYC or Philly. I highly recommend and look forward...
