I have never left a good or bad review on a restaurant before, but I am here now because this place is SO GOOD, AND I NEED IT TO STAY!!
Since I moved up from Texas 11+ years ago, I've been looking for a good Mexican restaurant, and I've finally found one, BUT it's now my favorite Mexan restaurant period! So I need this place to stay open for a long time!!
The food is amazing from what I've tried so far, but the Asada burrito is going to be hard to stay away from. The first time I visited, I had the street tacos, and they were great (our picky eater even destroyed those tacos), but the 2nd time I got the Asada burrito, and I fell in love. It's just as good on the 2nd day. Just had the leftovers for lunch and want it again for the rest of the week. My chorizo queso loving fiancé even said unprompted that the Mexican House queso (ask for Chorizo on top) is the best around!!
Finally, the service is great, and I love the atmosphere. On Taco Tuesday, there hasn't really been a crowd, and i love that because I hate crowds and love the no wait, but...
This place should be crowded!! And I would rather a crowd and wait time than not be able to order their food! So please come!!
I'm not even afraid I over...

I wouldn’t get the cheese dip again.. I’m going to assume they made a roux to start the dip? And if so, it didn’t cook long enough before adding the additional ingredients to make the dip. The fat separated from the dip and when it came out it was extremely thin. It did thicken as it cooled but the texture was grainy. It wasn’t bad taste wise, but everything else was slightly off putting. The tortilla chips they make are also thicker than usual so it packs a bigger crunch.
The veggie fajitas were nice because it had a wide variety of vegetables and not just the typical tomato, onion, & green peppers that you often see. It also was seasoned well.
The shrimp quesadillas were HUGE as you can see in the photo and very cheesy. The shrimp they used were very big pieces but I wouldn’t say it was evenly distributed. (Could have used a few more pieces) but regardless the flavor was good and the shrimp were perfectly cooked.
I thoroughly enjoyed the variety of menu items they carry. They had quite a few options that you don’t typically at other Mexican restaurants in the area so I’ll for sure be going back to try...
Read moreWent to Mexican House after work. Arrived at 5:59 and HH was over at 6 but the waitress told us it was too late to get a HH drink special because the computers would not let her do it. No problem, we had meals and drank like 3 drinks a piece as we sat and chatted. The chips and salsa were different. Their house salsa is a bit sweet but I guess it’s an acquired taste. The drinks were a bit in the small side, as the margarita glasses weren’t that big. The food was ok, I had Camerones a La Diabla and it’s was super spicy, which I was happy about. At 8:55 a waiter told us we were welcomed to stay but the DJ was starting at 9pm so we would be charged an additional 15 dollars a piece if we stayed. We did not. I thought it was strange to as customers that were already settled in, purchasing food and drinks to pay another 15 for a DJ. I could see if we just got there but we’d already been there and spent ample money. The restaurant itself is super cute and the music was good but probably would...
