This place has the BEST tasting tacos. I've never had real Mexican tacos and now I'm addicted lol. They are very quick here too.
Update 2025: I used to LOVE these tacos as you can see from my review above. But now, they must have gotten a new cook or something because they aren't really good anymore. My daughter and I get the Chorizo and it's been burnt and VERY dry the last 2 times I've bought it! My fiance gets the pastor and it was chunky instead of being cut up real fine like they used to cut it. About a month or 2 ago, i got my family tacos from here and that's how both of these tacos were. My fiance could only eat 1 because the Pastor was gross to him. I spent $50 for these tacos for us all to only eat 1 each and threw the rest out. So I thought that maybe it was just bad timing or something. Nope, not at all. I went here again last night, 9/27/25 and bought the Chorizo as I always get and once again it was burnt and VERY dry. I will never come to this place again and that's sad because I LOVED their tacos soooooooo much. I hope they start making them like they used too. Another thing I noticed from going here twice recently is they are not packed like they always used to be neither. It never mattered what time you came here, there were ALWAYS a lot of customers. Hopefully the owner will see this and either tell the cook she/he needs to cook their meats better or they will keep losing business. They used to be the BEST taco place around. Maybe months down the road I might try them again but, idk because I don't want to waste that...
Read moreParking was easy, plenty of parking around this large taco cart. They had 4 picnic tables with umbrellas so you could eat there comfortably. If you are taking the food home, it's a good idea to call ahead. This place gets pretty busy and the average time can be 15-20 mins. With that being said, that means you're getting fresh food so I'm always down for a wait. The service was good, walk up, order, and kick back & let them make it. This place has a limited menu similar to Taco Shop, with a solid meat selection.
I didn't really pay attention to drink options. I rarely get a drink if I'm doing take out.
I ordered the chicken torta: It was ok, a little spicy, chopped chicken, and the bread was soft. One side of the torta was loaded, the other side was lacking. It was a good sandwich, but I've had much better.
I ordered tacos: 2 pastor, 1 chorizo, 1 carnitas, and 1 steak. Pastor.... was ok, a little dry, the tomatillo based salsa really helped hydrate it. The corn tortillas also aided to making these a little dry. I chose to drop 1 tortilla, and this made all of the difference cutting out most of the Mojave. Chorizo...was solid, super greasy, good char, and some good heat to it. I did the drop 1 tortilla trick with this one from the jump. I really enjoyed this taco. Carnitas...was good, not dry at all, and was flavorful. This would be my go to taco here. Steak...ok, a little dry. I say my least favorite of the 4. No really good flavors jumping out at me...
Read moreI’ve been going to this food truck for YEARS - I live across the street so it’s always been convenient to me. However, I won’t be returning after today. I ordered steak tacos & the young woman told me 3-4 mins. I thought that was odd because I’ve always waited like 15 mins before. So I was getting pre-made meat. Which is fine. But I get home & the tacos are literally freezing cold. They BARELY warmed up the meat. I called & talked to a young woman who sounded like she didn’t even know how to hold a conversation. She kept just being silent. All in all, she said they wouldn’t give me my money back & wanted me to drive the cold food back to them. Nah. I’ve worked in customer service & food service for many years - that is not how you conduct good business. I’m very disappointed in how I was handled. They should have offered to refund me the $ or take my name & allow me 3 tacos on my next visit free of charge. Nothing was offered. I will have to find a new taco...
